Hello everyone. I am defiant fart and this is my really basic build guide to Kennen. I play kennen a lot in the top lane if my team needs AP and he is a great pick for almost all team comps. -Pros-
Kennen is a great initiator for team fights. Hes able to flash/Ult into their team and really do some damage.
Easy skills to hit. Q has good range and is great for last hitting creeps.
Not banned often in low elo.
Can really carry team fights and on his own against an opponent.
Easily wins trades against melee champions.
Uses energy and not mana
His E is a great escape tool.
-Cons-
Kennen is really squishy and can be simply killed by assassins like rengar.
Easily countered so not the best first pick.

You're soul purpose when playing Kennen is to dive into the back line and try and take out as many champions or to stun as many as you can. This allows your team to follow up and finish the fight. Target their carries and before you die try and take out at least 2 before you get focused.

So easily put in the lanning phase I trade with the enemy lanner like so. Q-AA-E-AA-W This allows you to Proc thunderlords and do some decent damage. At level 6 look for opportunities to TP bot when the enemy lane is over extended and catch them off guard and pick up some easy kills on them. Past level 6 a good all in trade is FLASH-R-Q-E-W-PROTOBELT- Sounds like a lot but its pretty simple once you get used to it. You can use protobelt to engage as well so you don't burn flash. Just using that as an example.

Kennen is great at farming due to his W allows you to hit everything that is touched by E and you also have protobelt to clear a wave in seconds later on.

Kennen is a popular pick in higher elo due to people understand his usefulness. Low elo he can really carry a lot of games if played right and with the right team comp. I had a 78% win rate with him out of 19 or so games in S6.
