Introduction

Welcome to my Akali guide, I've been playing Akali for a while now and I see shes and AMAZINGLY strong burster. She can chase enemys easily and take down high priority targets hiding behind the tanks. Thanks for viewing my guide. :D)))))))))))))) << multiple chins of happiness.

Runes + Masteries

Hybrid Pen Marks for tons of dmg
Armor Seals
MRES Glyphs for tankiness
Flat AP quints for more dmg

I like to use 9/21/0 because, it might just let u live for 1 or 2 more seconds in a team fight, which means u will be able to use a few more spells.

PROS/ CONS

PROS:
Powerful Burst Damage
Excellent farmer
Very Mobile because of her ultimate
Can escape death easily with twilight shroud.
Almost impossible to be kited

CONS:
Has no CC except for Rylai's and shroud
CC will drop Akali
Extremely Squishy if items aren't build accordingly to the enemy team's items
Oracles and Vision Wards is a threat

Items

Your core items are:

Rylai's Crystal Scepter: This gives you health, AP, and a Slow Effect which is your only source of cc, it also helps you catch up to enemys because of your huge range of shadow dance and the 35% slow.

Hextech Gunblade: Hextech Gunblade is a must-have because it improves your passive. More AP= More Magic DMG and More AD= More Spell Vamp

Lich Bane: This item synergizes well with all your skills because you're like always using and ability. This item does MASSIVE dmg if you: trigger the secondary effect of MOTA. Try to space out your abilties if you have no need to rush a kill because lich bane has a 2 second cooldown.

The other three items are situational:

Abyssal Scepter- Semi-heavy mres + Heavy AP. This is one of my favorite items because it give me 70 AP + 57 mres and lowers the enemy mres by 20.

Void Staff- Extremely Heavy Mres. This is an item where you can shred enemy tanks like nothing. You have 50% magic penetration because of your masteries,10%, and void staff 40%, and you also get 70 AP.

Zhonya's HourGlass- Heavy AD and also provides 2seconds of invincibility. Works well if you need that extra 2 seconds for your skills to cooldown.

Guardian Angel- If you get focused get this, then have your team initiate the enemy while they're all walking over your body waiting for you to be revived. :P

QuickSilver Sash- If the enemy has Tons of Stuns or other DEADLY cc. ex.Nasus' wither
or a Rabadon's if you're just about pure damage.

Skill Sequence

When you are going to poke and harrass, make sure theres not a lot of minions because minions are OP. If you do decide to engage,
1. Throw a MOTA, wait for cooldown.
2. Shadow dance, auto attack to trigger second effect of MOTA.
3. Throw a MOTA, auto attack
4. Crescent Slash
THROW IN TWILIGHT SHROUD ANYWHERE IN THIS COMBO, whether its to intiate a 1v1 or become immune to target abilities or doing crazy escapes.

Twlight Shroud Tips

If you want to be good at running away or juking, throw your twilight shroud in the middle of an intersection of 3 entrances. Or use it at a tip of and opstacle. You can also throw down a twilight shroud behind you to slow down the enemy but only do it if you're sure the might no be able to catch up to you.

If you know the enemy has oracles and vision wards don't be afraid to use twilight shroud because it also gives armor+mres and a slowing effect.

Farming

Akali is a champion who can harass and farm incredibly well. Use your MOTA to last hit or also auto attack that minion to trigger the secondary effect. Also if you're getting pushed really hard. Throw your MOTA as much as you can to farm and when the enemy minions arrive at your tower, put down your twilight shroud on the enemy minion casters to scare away your enemy.

Summoner Spells

I use Flash as an escape method or chasing enemies. When getting chased in the jungle throw down a twilight shroud near a bush and wall. You can either try to juke them or if they don't fall for it then flash.

NEVER USE IGNITE AS A FINISHER because you'll do way more damage while you're still fighting. ALWAYS use ignite at the beginning when you engage a fight because it'll give you bonus magic dmg and spell vamp because of your passives and it also Reduces the enemy healing effects.

Team Work

In Queue, you would want a Tanky Person at top lane, ap carry mid , support + ad carry and support bot, and a jungler. Since Akali has no CC your teammates should have lots of CC preferably area stuns snares or single target stuns. A JUNGLER IS THE KEY TO WINNING AND SUPPORT MUST ALWAYS BUY WARDS and oracles if you know the enemy is warding A LOT.

Your teams goal is to execute the enemy carries/squishies. Please never focus tanks. Your team is to seperate carries and tanks to secure easy kills, and win fights. In example, a Galio Ult can leave everyone defenceless. Try to initiate when in the bush because you can see them but they can't see you. This is your time to kill high priority targets. You also want to wait for the enemy team to make any kind of mistake. Never enter the enemy jungle or YOUR OWN jungle late game unless you have wards or your whole team backing you up.
