Introduction

I have been playing Gangplank for a long time. Ever since I was about level 8 and my friend recommended him to me, I am now a level 30 in Silver. I have tried many different builds with Gangplank; including Critplank, Tankplank, Bankplank, OnHitPlank, you name it. I have found this one to be the funnest. You will be surprised at how powerful Gangplank's ult is, and the fear you evoke from your enemies by just healing 800+ with your Remove Scurry. Really fun in normals, not ranked tested. This is my first guide, I apologize for the mediocrity.

Summary

AP Gangplank is a really fun, wacky take on Gangplank that performs well if you work with your team. The specified build gives plenty of utility and extra damage. AP Gangplank shines with his Q procs and global ultimate nuke. If you want to have a fun, meta-breaking and viable Mid or Top lane experience, this is the build for you.

Pros:
Huge Heals
Excellent Poke and Mana Regen
Unexpected Damage with Ultimate
Cut-Off exits and deal damage during teamfights
Cons:
Not very good for 1v1s

Farming

Early game, you should last hit minions with your Q to gain extra gold. Late game, you will be spending time with your allies and getting objectives. During this time you can fire your ultimate across the map to defend towers, counter-jungle and farm big waves of minions.
