AP always deals true damage because his W deal magic damage but against tanks and if you *****r i then you always deal true damage against all champions with every attack.

How to play AP Varus

Early game You start with W and only do auto attacks when the enemy champion is hitting you with his melee attack. Don't waste mana on spells early game because W is a passive. Don't leave your lane untill the enemy hero has left the lane, follow him in to the bush, facecheck, die and then blame your jungler. Always start with boots and 4 pots.

Mid game When you rush your boots of mobility you can gank other lanes with your auto attacks that deal 100% crit true damage and before you make these awesome ganks you need to have under 20 minions or else the enemy champion will think you are ss when you are not getting alot more, Logic: Don't ever farm with ap varus just auto attack every now and again. If your friends in skype tells you what to buy just say "Jag *****r i" and buy the real ap varus items.

Late game In late game when you have around 300 ap and 120 ad you will now deal 100% true damage against every champion. But in order to not get reported from your enemy for being just too good at the game you have to play passive as ****, don't ever waste ulti on engage or to save someone except yourself. Don't ever use mana for that matter in team fights. Always focus the tanks because of your maximum hp true damage passive you have all the damage to carry the team to challenger.
