I wouldnt suggest playing manric VS an ap champ like rumble, vlad. I havent even tried it im sure it would be a very difficult lane to win as your passivly stacking armor over the magic resist.

If you are playing against darius its a very finess trading fight, you cant just walk into him and hope that you win he will most likely come out ahead, whoever i have won this matchup before. You basically want to just stun him auto him a couple times, use your W for more damage and walk away, eventually these little trades add up in your favor

Playing against most AD champs are an easy win, as your W stacks the armor for you so you can just build damage and dunk your opponent.

Late game you pretty much just become a support, you were pretty much there to shut down whoever was toplane. because of this your going to need a carryish type of jungler not a tank, otherwise you might really lack damage for the later game.

Pros
- really fun to play
- feels good to shut down someone as taric
- make the enemy team flame there toplane for losing to you
- make cool montages

Cons
- if you screw up your laning phase and lose your weak all game
- loses to AP top laners
- relativly weak late game
