About the build

This is a build that will blow your enemies away with your massive amounts of damage that you can do. The focus of this build is mana and ability power. With the amount of mana you get you will never run out late game. And with the amount of ability power you get you will cut your opponents hp in half with a well aimed ult.

Ezreal is a ranged nuke support so I use him as such. I fire a huge shot when in group fights to lower their health but I stay near the back as not to die. If you do this you will get many stacks for your mejai's and lots of assists and lots of kills if you use good use of your essence shot and arcane shift.

Ezreal is completely a skill shot character meaning that he is hard to play at first and can be difficult to hit the enemy. But once you get used to how he is played and learn to shoot where your opponents are going to be you will do massive amounts of damage and hardly ever miss. Even 3 out of 5 shots hit is pretty good.



Rising Spell Force (passive)
Hitting a target with any of Ezreal's abilities increases his attack speed for several seconds. Increases attack speed by 15% for 6 seconds(Max Stacks: 5)
-I use this to farm creeps and take down towers by constantly using mystic shot to build it up to 5 stacks as your attack speed goes up quite a bit.

Mystic shot
Ezreal fires a bolt of energy dealing 40/65/90/115/140 plus 100% of his attack damage as physical damage (applies on-hit effects).
Ezreal's cooldowns are reduced by 1 second if Mystic Shot hits a target.
Cooldown: 6/5.5/5/4.5/4 seconds
Cost: 30/35/40/45/50 Mana
Range: 750
-I use this to harass early game and to farm late game. This is your main ability for an AD Ezreal but not for an AP Ezreal so we use it only to farm creeps and to hit the enemy or creeps if you can to reduce your cooldown a bit.
Mystic shot also has on hit effects so will proc lichbane when fired then apply the damage when it hits so will also do a big chunk of damage once you get lich bane.

Essence Flux
Ezreal fires a wave of energy that damages all enemy champions it passes through for 75/125/175/225/275 (+0.6). Affected ally and enemy champions have their attack speed respectively hasted or slowed by 20/25/30/35/40% for 5 seconds.
Cooldown: 10/10/10/10/10 seconds
Cost: 80/90/100/110/120 Mana
Range: 650
-Now this is your main attack. It will do a hefty amount of damage. I use it whenever the enemy is behind creeps farming and stopped moving. It has long range and a pretty nice cool down.

Arcane shift
Ezreal teleports to a target nearby location and fires a homing arrow at the nearest enemy unit dealing 80/130/180/230/280 (+0.75) magic damage.
Cooldown: 17/15/13/11/9 seconds
Cost: 90/90/90/90/90 Mana
Range: 400
-This is your other main damage dealer in fights. It does alot of damage but only to the closest enemy target so you have to be careful that you hit the right target. I use it to either move closer to the enemy to get a good shot with essence flux to do a two shot or I use it to hit the enemy as I run to get out of the way.

Trueshot Barrage
Ezreal channels for 1 second to fire a barrage of missiles dealing 350/500/650 (+1) magic damage to each unit it passes through. However, it deals 8% less damage for each unit it hits (Minimum 30%).
Cooldown: 100/100/100 seconds
Cost: 150/150/150 Mana
Range: Global
-This does insane amounts of damage and hits everything in its path. It will cut all enemies HP in half and help win team fights. I usually wait till they are all in one area (usually hitting our tank or carry) then fire and help clean up by chasing down low hp opponents and heal my allies with Essence Flux.


Game Tactics

Early game
At the beginning I just harass the opponents and farm creeps as long as I can.
The Doran's ring provides you with some ability to harass your enemies early game and stay alive long enough to get 980 gold for your tear.
Ezreal can be played in any lane with any team mate. I use mystic shot constantly to last hit creeps and to hit the other guy because it is cheap for mana and it builds more mana once you have your tear of the goddess.

I nuke the enemies with essence flux as it can go through creeps and only hits enemy champions for damage while being careful that I don't run out of mana early game (Mid/end game mana won't be a problem). I only put one point into arcane shift early game to make it easier to get out of an enemies range if needed.

One thing to note is that I do not use Chalice in my build like most other AP Ezreals do because of two reasons. One is that Chalice doesn`t regenerate your mana fast enough in mid/late game to be really effective. And two is that with your archangels staff you will get more mana regen than chalice and loads of mana which means that you will never run out of mana mid/late game. Because let's face it, an AP Ezreal without mana is useless.

Mid game
By lvl 10 or 11 you should have your tear and sorcerer's shoes and should be getting the mejai's soulstealer soon and helping out other lanes and start getting stacks. A nice easy kill after lvl 6 is to watch other lanes when the enemies are really low health and shoot your trueshot barrage when they stop behind their turrets to teleport back to town as your ult can go anywhere on the map (kinda like Ashe's arrow).

End game
At end game you will be a heavy team player because you will have basically unlimited mana and you can nuke the enemies for loads of damage. You should have your lich bane by now and almost be done your zhonya's ring. If the other team has heavy magic armor I would get void staff before zhonya's ring. But you will often see a huge chunk of your enemies health gone with each of your shots.

If you make it past zhonya's ring you can get a rylai's scepter for health and slow but I would finish off the archangels staff and get a void staff (if you don't already have it) for a lot of extra AP and magic pen.

Your ult is also amazing at killing enemies when they are running away at low health and think they are safe but make sure you aim first because you only have one shot.


Summoner Abilities

I use Ghost and Teleport for AP Ez. The ghost on Ezreal is always nice because Ez can be slow and needs the boost. I also pick teleport because while you stay at the back most of the time sometimes you will die and you need to get back into the action quickly to help your team mates or to take down towers.

A lot of Ezreal players pick ignite which would be fine to help you get kills at the start but in my opinion doesn't help as much as teleport does all through the game.I prefer teleport to get back into the action sooner so that I can get more stacks that way and help my team mates as Ezreal is an amazing support and nuker once you finish off your zhonya's ring.

Cleanse would also be fine to get as Ezreal is poor against stuns or slows.


After Note

With this build you will never be looking for mana and will shoot for loads of damage as you will get an amazing amount of mana and ability power and will be a force to be feared by the other team.
