Why this build?
This build allows Darius to have defense against mages as well as fighters. It also allows for great damage and can last long against tanks. Also, we all know that the longer Darius stays alive the stronger he is.
Heal: A good way to turn a fight around if you are going to die. Also used for lasting longer in sticky situations.
Exhaust: Great for chasing and escaping.
Ignite}}: Along with [[Hemorrhage this spell will do so much damage even after the fight is done, they won't know how they even died.
Not a Tank
Darius is not a tank, so do not be the first one into a fight. Although he is not a true tank, he is a great duelist, harassing by last hitting their minions and keeping them from farming yours. If they are getting close enough, use Decimate followed by Crippling Strike, then when they try to run use Apprehend and kill them using normal attacks or, if you are high enough, Noxian Guillotine. When in a duel, there is no one else to do damage to Darius, making death almost certain. In fights(more than one on one) never go in first, or you will get killed by crowd control, but if you go in last you can easily get some kills since you most likely won't be targeted.
Attack, Magic Resist, and Defense
Darius get about 230 attack in this, which is more than said, but Atma's Impaler effect makes it so. Along with high attack, defense and magic resist play an important role in Darius' survival.
When ganking, you can really help your team by taking out foes quickly when they are fighting your team. Do not try to distract them and be a tank.
Decimate: His main source of damage, so max first. Great for harrassing an enemy, farming a group of minions or monsters, or even setting you up for an easy kill with Noxian Guillotine.
Crippling Strike: Makes his next attack slow an enemy, great if you are chasing an enemy, and as a second spell right after Apprehend pulling them in, slowing them, damaging them with decimate, and if enough damage is dealt, finishing them off with Noxian Guillotine.
Apprehend: Pulls an enemy back to you, great for chasing an enemy, pulling a monster through a wall stealing the buff from an enemy, or getting an enemy away from an injured teammate.
Noxian Guillotine: Darius' ultimate move, dealing a lot of damage, and even more counting Hemorrhage counts, if this ability kills an enemy, it instantly resets.
Combos: Start by attacking an enemy enough for them to run, then use Apprehend, followed by Crippling Strike, dealing even more damage and stopping them from escaping so quickly. Proceed to use Decimate to do even more damage then you already have, and finish them with Noxian Guillotine if you can.
