You HAVE to take the second wind rune from the resolve tree one way or another. I personally go Phase Rush with Sorcery main tree with resolve secondary tree where I take Bone Plating and Second Wind. Ingame I get Doran's shield. Shield with Second Wind means that you heal back a LOT from being attacked. If they hit you, just back off for a few seconds while being in XP range for the minions and then you will just heal up ridiculously fast. Gnar is a bit easier because his AA range is shorter but Gnar can actually beat you in all ins provided your health is low enough. You do NOT want to all in when you are at like <40% of your health. Mega Gnar has enough stuns to just make sure that you won't be able to attack him during which he can just kill you. Against Gnar, rush Ninja Tabis. If you can, try to kill him level one. Really stupid Gnar players will let you walk up to them and Q them. After that you can just start autoing. With Phase Rush, you will have enough movespeed and slow resist to catch up to him and take his flash. Level 2 is where you want to start playing passively. If you damaged him enough level 1, you can just pull him and then kill him level 2/3 later in lane. But know that a smart Gnar will NEVER engage you until you have low enough health.
Lissandra
Lissandra is so fucking annoying to deal with. Think of it like a Vlad lane but she has higher range, an escape from a gank AND AN ABILITY THAT CAN COMPLETELY FUCK YOU UP IN A TEAMFIGHT. Her ultimate is so goddamn annoying to deal with. Stack up on Tenacity. For this lane, you might have to go for the "safe runes" with Fleet footwork and change the bone plating into unflinching. Go Merc boots ingame after Phage. This way, the tenacity will prevent you from getting stunlocked and you should have a somewhat healthy laning phase. Try to use the movement speed from Fleet Footwork to land a Q and then just back off. You do not want to get hit by her root on her W. Try to predict when she is going to teleport to her Ice Claw and pull her. This will most likely be towards the end when it opens. Just before it opens, pull her so that she is stunned and cant tp to her claw. Try to dodge her ice skill shot thing. The thing with her root is that if she is close enough to root you, then you are close enough to pull her to yourself. So if you just want to do a quick trade instead of all inning, then its worth to auto + w and then do a Q before she teleports away. Like other Ranged champions, she can't quite fight against your pressure in an all in. But she does have the tools necessary to survive your all ins. Try to get a kill or two and wait for her to make mistakes. You should at the very least walk out of this lane while being even with her. Try to work together with your team more and just be more useful in teamfights.
Trundle
This is similar to Renekton in terms of it being a brawl up toplane. But Renekton's damage comes in burst. He has MASSIVE dps. Standing there and just letting Trundle beat you down is a great way to just get shit on. You HAVE to kite him. Try not to fight him level 1 as his bite allows him to just out damage you. Your Q outranges his slightly so you kinda have that going for you. His pillar is great at setting up ganks for his team and his ultimate just nullifies your usefulness at times. If he uses his ult on you, simply W or pull him and just run away. You WILL lose UNLESS, he is low hp and you KNOW you can kill him with your ultimate. Without his ult, he can't really do too much against you. Trundle also falls of really hard lategame. But instead of becoming completely useless like Olaf, he becomes like a supporty tank. He is usually a great target to get 5 stacks on in teamfights. Tabis are good.
Kayle
Kayle is an absolute nightmare. There is only going to be 1 opportunity to win lane. Levels 1, 2 and 3. If you do not get a kill during these levels, then you have lost the lane. The thing with Kayle is that she always levels her ranged AOE autos. So if you were to close the gap and hit her melee, she would effectively have no abilities to use against you as you are already melee range. You HAVE to kill her then and there. If you want, you could take Ignite or Ghost to help you finish the job. You gotta snowball hard on her and kill her fast. Letting her rule the lane will ruin everything. Phase Rush is okay here.
Tahm Kench
He have slow if u go q he slow you and get movemeent speed and he can all in you so be carefull
Quinn
Screw this champion. Quinn is quite possibly your worst lane matchup. The amount of counter play she has is TINY. If you are able to predict her headbutt thing then you can kill her with phase rush. But if not, then you are kinda fucked. Pull, auto+w. it activates phase rush. also activate your ghost. Then jsut run her down and kill her quick. This is the ONLY way you can kill her as her headbutt thing slows you. If you let her get a kill on you, your team is fucked. Ping her missing as much as possible. Good luck.
Illaoi
Just dodge shes tentacless. And if she ult just run away and wait shes ult end.
Rakan
Darius has IMMENSE synergy with Rakan. If your entire team is feeding but you have a decent Rakan, you can 2v5 the entire enemy team. He is great at catching people out for you, holding people down for you and stunning entire teams long enough for you to get your 5 stacks and start murdering people. Rakan is the BEST teammate champion to have.
Thresh
If the Thresh knows how to play and land his hooks (he isnt autofilled), then he can be of great help. Although his synergy isnt as good as Rakan's it is still great.
Alistar
Alistar is another champion that can work great with Darius. Although not as good as Rakan, a good Alistar will be a great ally to have as he can go in with you as a tank and lock people down for you.
Yasuo
If u can flash+E on 4,3 or 5 peoples you and yas can 2v3 2v4 2v5.
Zac
Zac is pretty much a place holder for any tank jungler. If you have a squishy support, then a tank jungler will be essential as it will mean that you won't be the sole frontline. Tanks with tons of cc that can go in, setup plays with you and generally just assist you in destroying their team are great.
Hecarim
Hecarim need to create great fear you and one shot someone. If he create good fear u can easy stuck.
