You could always use the extra points in Sorcery for the CDR, but I'll say that Expose Weakness is acceptable.

Personally, my preference as a defensive choice on Nocturne is Mercurial Scimitar or Spirit Visage. Nocturne already has a spell-shield with Shroud of Darkness, and both Banshee's Veil and his W are easily baited, while you can hold the Cleanse from Scimitar until you need it.

Also, I also find Frenzy to be a fairly substandard choice. Without Trinity Force you'll have no chance of Critical Hits, and a fairly low one with it. If you're going for a Crit- Nocturne, you'd be better off going with Youmuu's Ghostblade, especially since it gives him bonus MS and AS, both of which complement him very well and give him incredibly strong hard/split-pushes.

Other than that, not bad at all. Some visual improvements could be used, but the guide itself it solid enough. Hope you do as well as my old guide did; maybe you'll manage to eclipse PsiGuard, something I came so damn close to doing but never quite managed. Best of luck.

I'll take care of ganking procedures that's for sure, so just wait for me to collect more infos through games.

It's true that Frenzy seems to be fair useless with this low critical chance, but I believe that, even with this chance, it is worth of the point. I don't like the idea of the Spell Weaving as soon as Nocturne has not a powerfull speel to take advantage of. Also, in my opinion, Feast is not good enough for junglers. You can go for Dangerous Game or Double-Edged Sword if you like.

Last, as I say in mastery section, I choose Expose Weakness over Double-Edged Sword (as you need 1 of these 2 to continue putting points) cause I like the idea of giving me teammates more damage output (even if it is a tiny 1%). As I say, you can choose Double-Edged Sword if you like so.

Thank you for your reply :)

This seems to be a good guide starting out, but there are a few things that stand out: In Off-Tank Nocturne's mastery selection of 21/9/0, Frenzy is largely useless from the 10% crit chance. The actually guide has NO information on the ganking procedures. The Expose Weakness mastery's benefit is a TINY 1%.

Thanks for the reply dude. I'll try this out and see how it works. But I think that as you gank or jump on the carries in teamfights, having 2 spell shields on and absorbing 2 spells, which can be stuns, snares etc is as crucial for your damage output as for your survival. But I'll take your advice, try Spirit Visage over Banshee's Veil and update the guide if it suits better.

Thanks again :)

Good guide, but don't you think you should take Spirit Visage over Banshee's Veil? Hear me out, Spirit Visage gives you +20% CDr, natural HP/5, gives you more lifesteal with Umbra Blades and Blade of the Ruined King and you'll heal crazy with Baron Buff in your pocket. I know you probably picked Banshee's Veil because it goes with Shroud of Darkness but really, the spell shield will only work once in a teamfight, or maybe it will be taken down before the teamfight even starts.

Edit: Items section paragraph 3; You wrote [Randuin's Omen]] instead of Randuin's Omen
