Introduction

Hi homie ~ nice to meet you.
Allow me to introduce myself.

1. Diamond korean player in season 6
I'm just a korean player who loves Twitch like you guys

Thanks to Twitch, I finally made it to diamond.
Upon making it to diamond for the first time, I really wanted to share my experience with other players.

I believe that because Twitch is so OP, any LoL player can use him to improve their rank.
Therefore, I decided to share my 2 years of twitch experience in a guide.
After a lot of time and effort, I finally uploaded my guide for the Korean LoL Community.
At first, nobody read my guide.

As time went by, however, it grew in popularity and people began leaving comments and compliments.
Finally, many people liked my guide and it became the most popular Twitch guide in Korea.
It felt so great to receive so much support and I feel really grateful to all of the korean Twitch players.

This success has inspired me to try and create a global twitch family and makes me wonder if the same guide could help twitch players on other servers too.
http://lol.inven.co.kr/dataninfo/champion/manualToolView.php?idx=133694
This is my Korean Guide.

2. My hope is to help everyone who loves Twitch to succeed in at their solo-ranked games.
This is why I am writing an english version of my twitch guide even though I am korean.
but i really want for everyone who wants to learn twitch to be able to use my guide.

I will try my best. So trust me and come with me.
Twitch has a play-style unlike other ADCs.
Keep practicing good positioning and you can succeed.

*This Guide is well activated in Chrome.

Runes

1. Basic-AD Rune.
Greater Mark of Attack Damage*9
Greater Seal of Armor*9
Greater Glyph of Magic Resist*9
Greater Quintessence of Attack Speed*3
These Runes are Basic-ADC Runes.
All ADC are okay with this Rune. including Twitch.

2. New Basic-ADC runes that are hot in korea.
Greater Mark of Attack Damage*6 , Greater Mark of Attack Speed*3
Greater Seal of Armor*9
Greater Glyph of Magic Resist*9
Greater Quintessence of Attack Speed*2, Greater Quintessence of Life Steal*1
Right now, because of the buff to Natural Talent , it is more efficient to run a Greater Quintessence of Life Steal for sustain and use 5 points in Natural Talent for damage

3. My Rune
I change a few of my Greater Glyph of Magic Resist to Greater Glyph of Mana Regeneration when the enemy support does less AP damage. If they have a lot of AP damage, Iā€™ll only use 2~3 mana regen glyphs.
Then Why Twitch should use Greater Glyph of Mana Regeneration?

(1) When the enemy bot lane goes back to base in early Lane-Phase.

Since Twitchā€™s kit relies so heavily on auto attacks, he does not typically push very fast.
I use mana regeneration because when the enemy bot lane goes back to base, it is really important to shove the lane quickly to deny them creeps.
Therefore it is important to have enough mana in these situations so that you can clear the wave with w and e.
Twitch will need at least 130-150 mana to use both spells and because his mana costs are pretty steep, you wonā€™t always have enough mana to push the wave if the enemy backs.
This is why I recommend that you choose 2-4 Greater Glyph of Mana Regeneration runes.

(2) When Twitch can execute enemy With E skill.

Using 2-4 Greater Glyph of Mana Regeneration runes will also make it less likely that Twitch will run out of mana when trying to execute an enemy with E.
For a full spell rotation, Twitch needs at least 110 mana for Q and W + the cost of E depending on its rank (50,60,70,80,90) +100 if you have your ult.
If Twitch already use his all mana for doing trade, Then Twitch's E skill is just nothing.
Also, There are too many situation that Twitch lowers enemy's HP but he can not finish enemy because of E mana. We can prevent this kind of situation.

4. Enemy AD-Damage is strong.
If the other team if full AD or their support doesnā€™t do magic damage, you should change your Greater Glyph of Magic Resist runes to Greater Glyph of Armor.
This situation is uncommon but It is important not to waste your rune slots for useless stats and to be as durable as possible to survive team fights.
Twitch become more tanky(?) and endure more easily at Bottom-Lane also.
Then Twitch can be grown more easily and with this, he can do more at Team-Fight.

Masteries

Vampirism VS Natural Talent
=> NT is better and should be used with the corresponding rune page discussed above.

Do you remember in season 5 when Vayne was OP (even in the early game) and her pick rate was over 50%?
Riot nerfed her base AD by 3.
That small nerf caused a direct decrease in her win rate by 2-3%!
As you can see, an ADCs AD in the lane-phase is incredibly important.
Natural Talent gives +2 AD and +3 AP.
These increases mean a lot!

Twitch uses not only the extra AD well but the AP too, because Twitchā€™s E, Contaminate has a small amount of AP scaling. Of course the AP damage is not very much with only 1-2 stacks of poison. However, once there are at least 4-5 poison stacks, the extra damage from AP scaling cannot be ignored.
But how do we make up for missing out on Vampirism ā€™s Life-Steal?
This is why we choose RESOLVE not CUNNING.
CUNNINGā€™s Recovery and Tough Skin are really helpful on Twitch in the lane phase. I will further explain why we should choose RESOLVE instead of CUNNING later in this chapter.

Bounty Hunter VS Double Edged Sword VS Battle Trance
-> BT is best.
These Masteries are really controversial.
Select one according to your Play-Style.

Bounty Hunter
It is really difficult to stack Bounty Hunter , but if you can, it offers the greatest increase in damage.
The conditions for fully stacking it are not easy to satisfy. Because it is only stacked on unique champion kills, if you havenā€™t killed anyone, the mastery is completely useless. If you like gambling, then Bounty Hunter may be the right mastery for you. :)

Double Edged Sword
If your play-style is aggressive and you like getting lots of kills even if it means you may die more, then I recommend this mastery. If you think about the ADCā€™s damage-graph, the Damage dealt is significantly higher than Damage given. So, it may be more beneficial on twitch to take the 5% extra damage even if it means Twitch takes more damage himself. Just remember that if the enemy botlane is strong early, Twitchā€™s lane phase will be that much harder. You should consider this mastery when the opponentsā€™ botlane is less dangerous.

Battle Trance
Battle Trance fits Twitchā€™s combat style really well. By the time Twitch is ready to use E : Contaminate, the damage increase is usually already at 4-5%.
This is the typical choice on Twitch.
Good synergy.

Warlord's Bloodlust VS Fervor of Battle
->It depends on whether laning or teamfighting is more important to you.

Warlord's Bloodlust
Choose Warlord's Bloodlust when you prefer safety in lane.
Because it offers a stronger lane-phase, it is easier for Twitch to scale.
Relatively, Twitchā€™s teamfight damage will be a little weaker.

Fervor of Battle
Usually Twitchā€™s lane phase is hell.
But! When you endure it, Twitch is well compensated in teamfights.
Because of Runaan's Hurricane and R : Spray and Prayā€™s penetration, Twitch only needs 2-3 auto attacks to completely stack Fervor of Battle !
With Fervor in teamfights, Twitchā€™s damage is incredible. I will explain this more in the Item and R skill section.
Stay focussed!

Cunning vs Resolve -> RESOLVE is better.
Now i will explain why we should choose RESOLVE instead of CUNNING.

1. Why Resolve?
RESOLVEā€™s Recovery , Tough Skin , ( Veteran's Scars / Runic Armor ) are far better in lane than CUNNINGā€™S.
Why is it so important?
Maybe you already know!
Because Twitch is terribly weak in lane, if you canā€™t endure it, Twitch risks having little impact on the game.
The RESOLVE masteries will make it easier to breathe in the the early lane phase.

2. The Importance of Insight Mastery.
This reduces Flashā€™s cooldown from 300 -> 255 seconds or 5 minutes -> 4.25 minutes or 45 seconds shorter.
Twitch was born for team fights.
We know that Twitch cannot always ULT from a safe position.
Sometimes, he will ULT while being hit by enemies and having Flash available to avoid their most dangerous CC will help make the most use of the uptime(ONLY 5 second) for his ult and it can mean the difference between winning and losing a team fight!
Flash available or not is super important especially on Twitch.
Sometimes, using Flash, he can also strike more at that 5 seconds.

Pros / Cons

Pros : Twitch has the potential to execute everyone if he can successfully avoid the enemyā€™s dangerous CC

Repeat after me.
Ahri's Charm
Ahri's Charm
Ahri's Charm
Ahri's Charm
Ahri's Charm
You should be careful this only!!!!!

If you avoid this, you will be a Hero.

Pros : even if you make a mistake, Twitch is too good, so you can still get a multi-kill.

Twitch can outplay 1 vs 4

Pros : If enemies are in a narrow corridor or group together, Twitch can give them a nuclear bomb.

Isn't it cool?

Pros : It doesnā€™t matter how many enemies are in front of Twitch.

If our teammates make a good initiation, then Twitch will delete them. Donā€™t worry.

Cons : Twitch frequently lost his Penta-Kill because Twitch is too strong.

Q : Ambush

Q : Ambush
Because of the changes to Ambush, greater variety of play is possible.
Comparing his old Q and new Q, i will explain what is nerfed or buffed on Twitch and how to use Q well in small fights or big teamfights.

1. Ambush is activated in 1 second regardless of whether Twitch takes damage or not.
At present, Ambushā€™s description is wrong.
It still says that if Twitch takes damage while casting Ambush, the stealth activation is delayed to 4.5 seconds.
It has since been changed so that it always activates in one second no matter what.
This is an incredible buff. I will show you.

(1) Get Attack Speed Buff Immediately.
Previously, if a fight started suddenly, Twitch Wouldnā€™t get his attack speed buff immediately (it would take about 1.5-4.5 seconds to get the buff.).
4.5 seconds was too late to get the buff. The fight is already over by then.
Now when you fight, you can get the attack speed buff immediately.
So the 1 vs 1 competency is increased. This is clearly a buff.

(2) More Enemies Close to Twitch, More Easier to Survive.
When enemies are close to Twitch, Twitchā€™s move-speed from Ambush is increased up to 30%. This helps Twitch move away more easily because Ambushā€™s activation is so fast.

(3) Faster Activation Makes it Easier to Position.
Fast Ambush activation gives Twitch a better chance to re-position with Q resets (when he gets a kill or assist.). This also allows Twitch to save Spray and Pray for a later activation of Q when it can be used more optimally.
Finally, When The most important circumstance comes, He is ulting Spray and Pray at the best position and melding enemy's marksman(ADC,MID).
I can show you this in video.

(Circumstance)

In this video, Twitch saves his ULT for the perfect situation. He doesnā€™t need it to kill and it wonā€™t be enough to kill so he saves it. After dies to ā€™s Ignite at the last second, Twitch can recast Q and look for new positioning to delete the enemy carries.

(Judgement)

(4) From Now On, Donā€™t Worry about Q Canceling your Auto Attack.
If you have played Twitch a lot or you are a Twitch expert, you must have experienced the basic attack cancel when Ambush activates.
This phenomenon has always been Twitch playersā€™ downfall.
Previously, in a chaotic fight, you may not have noticed that your attack had been canceled because you couldnā€™t know exactly when you were going to go into stealth.
But no longer!
Ambush will always activate after 1 second. You can always prevent cancelled autos if you just follow this order.

Attack command -> use Q(To get buff) -> wait one second -> attack command again.

This video will help demonstrate.

Q : Ambush

2. Previous Ambush skill continues only 4/5/6/7/8 seconds.
It used to be so frustrating how short Ambushā€™s stealth was, especially at lvl 1 when it was only 4 seconds.
Whenever i tried to assassinate the adc, I would hide somewhere that the enemies couldn't see me, but by the time I got close to my target, Ambush was already over!
So many times, I failed to get the kill.
Not only that, when I tried to flank enemies in big team-fights, sometimes Ambush would time out too early and i would end up ulting from a terrible position.

But now, Qā€™s duration time has been buffed to 10/11/12/13/14 seconds!!
That is an amazing buff! What an insane duration time!
Now, Twitch has enough time to assassinate and can get into a good position for ulting or choose to use Ambush from a much longer distance.
Now, immobile ADCā€™s like Jhin or Jinx are easy kills unless their support is babysitting them.

Here are some tips for how you can use Twitchā€™s new Q

(1) Act like Iā€™m going to engage!
When the enemy wave is pushing towards us (the number of enemy minions > the number of ours), our minions are dying but the enemy ADC canā€™t come and get XP or Gold because of the threat that Twitch might pop out at them!

By staying in stealth while your minions die, the enemy ADC canā€™t go in to last hit creeps for up to 10 seconds! because he should prepare to fight.

(2) Act like we are getting a gank!
This is a different application of (1)
If our jungler is not in the vision of the enemy and their jungler is showing on the map, you can use Ambush and start walking forward like you're going to engage with their support. The enemy will have to assume that you could have help coming and back off. This play will confuse their judgement and may even help your jungler pull off a successful gank in another lane.
This can be a good strategy to use when you are behind in the lane and you need to get some CS without being harassed. if I am under a lot of pressure in lane, I will use this to make the enemy adc and support back off so that I can farm a few creeps.

(3) When Twitch flees
Thanks to the longer duration of Ambush, Twitch easily survives many situations. Before, if the enemy were to approach from behind, Twitch should die unconditionally. Now, if Twitch activates Q, he has a better chance of getting away. By making them think that you are going back to your tower while the spell channels, you can then try and trick them by turning back towards theirs after you go into stealth. The longer duration of stealth gives you a greater opportunity to get away. I will upload an example video to demonstrate this tactic soon.

(4)Dominate the bush.
If Twitch can control the bush and the enemy doesnā€™t have it warded, they wonā€™t know for sure if he is hiding or using his Ambush.
This situation is very irritating to the enemy because it is so dangerous for them to face-check the bush so they have to just play safe instead. Twitch can just quickly step out of the bush to get last hits and then go back to hiding. By doing this, Twitch is saying ā€œat any time, I could be getting ready to pop out and kill you.ā€ This can create continuous pressure and accumulate a bigger and bigger lead as time goes on.

(5)Using stealth to gain vision
During the camouflage portion of Ambush, you can help your team by safely and discretely gaining vision.
One way this can be done is by acting as a ward. If your team is grouping up and preparing to push down a lane, Twitch can use Q to scout ahead of his teammates and check out the situation. Be careful doing this in the jungle because it can be very risky to go too close to an unwarded bush. In the red-side jungle, There is no safe way to get from one side to the other with stealth unless you have wards down. The blue-side jungle can be a little bit more forgiving because there are only 4 bushes in that side of the jungle compared to the 7 on red-side.
The photo below shows 2 ways that you can traverse the blue-side jungle in relative safety.

You can be spotted using the North-South route from the bush next to the Blue buff area but only barely. Careful pathing can minimize this risk so that there would need to be a champion or a control ward at the very outer edge of the bush in order to be spotted.

<video>
you can easily check the suspicious bush like this video.
It is also used many times when you don't know if opponent's bot-duo went home but you have to push wave. Just going forward is really dangerous.
See this video.

It's easy to escape because of Q speed-buff!
but what if you don't have Q?? it is really dangerous!
You must check the suspicious bush with W!!

W : Venom Cask

W : Venom Cask

Twitchā€™s old W, Venom Cask, just gave 2 stacks of poison and an on-hit slow.
This didnā€™t help Twitchā€™s game-play much.
The new version of Venom Cask is much stronger, especially for the lane phase.
It creates a 3-second long poison cloud that slows and adds up to 4 stacks. (1 stack is applied to anything it lands on, an additional stack is applied every second).
There are three reasons why this ability is so helpful in lane:

(1) Zoning the enemy
Twitchā€™s Venom Cask can be used similarly to Zileanā€™s Time Bomb.
It can be very irritating for the enemyā€™s ADC while theyā€™re trying to farm because if they have to stand in it, you can get the 4 stacks and E: Contaminate them for easy poke damage.
Also, while trading, if Twitch uses W: Venom Cask right behind the enemy ADC, they must choose between taking auto attacks from Twitch and running backwards through poison. They canā€™t help taking 4-6 stacks.

(2) Pushing the lane (we call this Power of Lane Clear in Korea).
Before the change to Venom Cask, Twitchā€™s biggest weakness in lane was his lack of wave-clear before Runaan's Hurricane. Even if he could kill his lane opponents, he couldnā€™t push fast enough to properly take advantage of it. sometimes, enemies jungler comes fast and Twitch couldn't help leaving the bad wave unavoidably.
Now Twitch has no problem pushing waves. Just use W: Venom Cask, attack each minion one time and press E: Contaminate. Faster wave-clear means faster recalls and rotations.

(3) Adding to teamā€™s CC and more Damage
W: Venom Caskā€™s persistent slow can be used in a multitude of ways. When other teammates land their cc, it can be layered on top to easily stack up poison.
It can also be used as an escape tool or to help catch enemies as they flee.
Previous W : Venom Cask gives only 2 poison stacks.
But now when Our Sup hits CC, Twitch can easily piled up poison 6 stack with Venom Cask and Twitch's basic-attack in CC duration time.
Then We can use E : Contaminate with 6 poison-stacks immediately. That's So powerful Damage in early games. Twitch's 1:1 and 2:2 competency is also upgraded.

(4) use W to reset the timer for your passive, Deadly Venom
After a trade, your opponents will be left with stacks of Deadly Venom.
Sometimes they are low enough to execute, but E is on Cooldown and the Deadly Venom will time out before you have time to use it again. If they are too far away to reach with an auto attack, sometimes you can still reach them with Venom Cask to reapply Deadly Venom and buy enough time to use E again.
Twitchā€™s normal auto attack range is 5.5 Teemos. With ult it is 8.5 Teemos. The range of Venom Cask is 9.5 Teemos plus the radius of the spellā€™s aoe. (teemo is 100 units wide so 1 Teemo is 100 units)
you can see the video about this method in "[Early Game]At Bot Lane - lvl 2" chapter

(5) W will reveal enemies in bushes.
Due to the fact that enemies can now see Twitch while he is stealthed, walking by bushes that you donā€™t have vision in can be a risky proposition even if you have Ambush activated.
In order to avoid being surprised in the jungle, you can use W to check bushes for you. It will give vision within its AOE for the 3 seconds that it persists. It is good for checking bushes and it can also be used to check Baron/Dragon pit - just be sure to throw it far enough that it reaches the center of the pit.

Here you can see the guy who helps write the guide in better english make a clean escape, but then he shows us why he is still in silver. after he types "?" in the chat, the riven decides to stick around to finish the job. Schmegendary is so arrogant that he doesnt use his w to check the bush. Riven makes sure he loses all of his League Points. dont be like Schmegendary. dont facecheck the jungle. dont be stingy with your W.

E : Contaminate

E : Contaminate Skill
Proper use of Contaminate is very important on Twitch
To be a Twitch expert, you must learn how to use Contaminate well.

1. Basic concept of E : Contaminate
Contaminate has a base damage of (20/35/50/65/80) at each respective level. Additionally, it deals another 15/20/25/30/35 plus .2 AP and .25 AD damage for every stack of Deadly Venom. It deals physical damage, so it interacts with armor.

If you use Contaminate with fewer than 2 poison stacks, its a waste of mana. Bad Habit :(
The damage is not enough to justify the mana cost and having it on cooldown.
I recommend using it with at least 3-4 stacks.
It is important to consider the opportunity cost that comes with using Contaminate. Your lane opponents can potentially use Contaminate being on cooldown to engage and win a trade against you.

2. A Trick that Works Well at Lower Elos.
Many lower level players do not know or wonā€™t respect the amount of damage that Contaminate can do. This means that they will allow their health bar to dip into Contaminateā€™s execute range before they use their Heal. By quickly using Contaminate as soon as they are within kill range, your opponents may allow you to get kills that you shouldnā€™t be able to.

Just remember to use Contaminate as soon as you think you can get a kill!
Here are a couple of videos to demonstrate the proper use of this technique in various situations:

- Quick use of Contaminate to execute ADC before they respond.

Vayne didnā€™t recognize Twitchā€™s damage and doesnā€™t use heal in time.

- Jhin is greedy with his heal and doesnā€™t react in time to save his support

Because of how long Eā€™s range is (12 Teemos), Luluā€™s flash is not enough to save her and Twitch gets an easy kill.

E : Contaminate

3. E: Contaminate has a range of 12 Teemos(1200 units)
This fact is easy to overlook, but the extreme range of Contaminate is something that a clever Twitch player is aware of and uses to their advantage.

In situations in which you are chasing down your enemy, oftentimes they will use Flash to try and survive. Most ADCs would have to Flash after them if they want to secure the kill. Obviously this can be a dangerous proposition, especially if they go over a wall and you donā€™t have vision of the other side.
Twitch is not just any ADC.
Do not Flash! :)
There are many instances in which we can simply wait for our opponents to use their Flash unwisely and punish them by simply pressing E like in the videos below! :)

- Twitch can easily kill Poppy after she flashes

- Blitz Flash is a bonus. Youā€™re already dead blitz.. bye
Back to Top

E : Contaminate

4. Use Contaminate Before Enemy Uses CC
Most LoL players know which CC will prevent them from being able to use spells.
It is always important to do as much damage as you can in a fight, so if you know you're going to be CCā€™d and might die, be sure to use your Contaminate first. The animation can even be buffered so that if you start it early enough, it will still happen while you are locked up.
In the video below, Twitch predicts Sonaā€™s Crescendo and buffers Contaminate as she casts it so that the damage still goes through!

- Sona.. You Are My 300G.. and Why Caitlyn exit the Game?

Did you see? Sona uses R and Twitch can still use E because he started the animation just a moment before.

5. Enemy Doesnā€™t Know if Contaminate is on Cooldown.
In the middle of a fight, it can be difficult for the members of the other team to keep track of things like how many stacks of poison are on them or when/if Twitch has used E.
Knowing this, Twitch can use psychological warfare on them.

In this video, Contaminate is on cooldown and Twitch uses Flash and and auto attack to try and finish off Jayce but Jayce Flashes as well and barely gets outside of Contaminateā€™s 12 Teemo range. In this situation, is there any chance to still get the kill?
Yes! Twitch can use psychological warfare!

Twitch realizes that there is no way he will be able to catch up to Jayce by running at him so he has to try something else. He turns back so as to say ā€œI wonā€™t be able to kill you so I will have to just recall.ā€
This tricks Jayce into turning back, right as Contaminate becomes available and now he is in range!

What a Clever Rat:)

R : Spray and Pray

In this chapter, we will cover:
1. Why Twitchā€™s R, Spray and Pray is ****ing GOOD in team fights
2. How to use R : Spray and Pray.

Spray and Pray is the most important skill on Twitch.
Knowing exactly when is the right time to use Spray and Pray is the most essential part of playing Twitch well and it can take a lot of practice.
The result of Team fights and moreover, the winning team, depends on how well you can use Spray and Pray.
As I said before, with an 80% crit build, Twitch should be aiming to use his Ult to attack the enemy marksman as much as possible.
It is important to strike a balance between using Spray and Pray safely and also getting the most out of the time during which it is activated. This requires good timing and good positioning.
This skill is unique to Twitch so it can be difficult to learn.
I will help you. So follow me.

Spray and Pray gives a 5 second buff in which his AD is increased by 20/30/40 and his attack range is increased from 5.5 Teemos to 8.5 Teemos.
Additionally, Twitchā€™s auto-attacks penetrate anything they hit, always traveling the full distance in a straight line. Because they shoot in a straight line, Twitchā€™s autos are not actually bound to the enemy that you click them on while his ult is active. This means that they can miss entirely! This very seldom happens and there is no real way to account for that situation.

Because Twitchā€™s ult only lasts 5 seconds, you really want to maximize its dps by using as many auto attacks as possible. At the max, you can get ~8 auto attacks out during the duration of Spray and Pray if you have a lot of attack speed in your build and you are using Ambushā€™s attack speed steroid. If you can get 6-7 auto attacks out, thatā€™s really good - oftentimes you can only get 5.

In a team fight situation, it is ideal for Twitch to use his ult from a safe position in his teamā€™s backline.
Unfortunately, in a Soloqueue game, one cannot always have the best-case scenario. Occasionally, in a game where you are losing really badly, it is appropriate to go for a hero play.
Go for this sort of play when there is no hope getting more ideal circumstances. Intentionally putting yourself out of position is incredibly dangerous and it will be difficult to maximize your damage output while also being directly focused by the enemy team.
Have courage and be ready to Flash their key spells and maybe you can win the teamfight.
Twitch is already usually focused in teamfights. If the other team uses all of their skills on him, his teammates should be able to clean up the fight easily.

The video below is a fine example of bravery and cunning to turn around a bad team fight.

Situation: Twitchā€™s team is being engaged on and is already losing. How should he play? Where is my penta?

Judgement : Twitchā€™s team is being engaged on and is already losing. How should he play? Where is my penta?

You should recognize that Threshā€™s Q must be avoided at all cost and be ready to use your Flash!!

R : Spray and Pray

1. Why Twitch's R : Spray and Pray is very Good in Team-Fight.

(1) R is more powerful if enemies are in a narrow spot or are grouped together
Because of R : Spray and Pray's Penetration and Runaan's Hurricane's multi-attack, R : Spray and Pray is most powerful in situations where each attack hits as many enemies as possible.

-

-

(2)Because of Runaan's Hurricane, Fervor of Battle is piled up incredibly fast.
You already know that Fervor of Battle can be stacked up with the extra bolts from Runaan's Hurricane. Combined with Spray and Prayā€™s penetration, Fervor of Battle can become fully stacked in only 2-3 auto attacks.
This means that in a teamfight, Twitch will be more powerful by using his ult immediately so that every auto is stacking Fervor up as quickly as possible.

- Fervor of Battle stack becomes full easily.

(3) outranging the enemy marksman
In late game when each teamā€™s marksman is a monster, Twitch should have more effect on a team-fight. Due to the extra range from his Ult, Twitch can strike the other marksman before getting hit himself.
Maybe you already know what this can mean in the late game

-Even in a fight that starts out poorly, the enemy marksman is an easy kill for Twitch.

R : Spray and Pray

2. How to use R : Spray and Pray like a korean.

Using R well is super important.
So lets learn 5 tips.
Please remember these tips and check your conditions before using your Ult.

(1) Ambush attack-speed buff
Twitch should always try to use R and Q together with few exceptions. Because Spray and Pray has no scaling with damage items, you get the most out of it by using it as many times as possible. Obviously, the extra attack speed from Ambush helps to achieve this and you should always try to have Ambush available if youā€™re going to use your Ult.
Position well. Use as many attacks as you can. Kill the enemy ADC.
This is the key to Victory.

(2) Save Spray and Pray for the ideal situation or for when you can have perfect positioning.
Do not waste R to quickly delete one enemy or just to increase your AD when there are many other enemies around or if there will be a teamfight soon.
Remember that just by having Spray and Pray off cooldown will apply pressure to the other team and force them to respect your teamfight potential.
If you use it early, you will be a weak rat and the other team will not have to fear you as much so donā€™t waste it if you can save it for a better situation.

- Should Twitch use his R to quickly delete Fizz?

Twitch sees that Fizz has already used all of his spells and is going to be an easy target even without ulting. Because he chooses to save Spray and Pray, he is able to kill everybody else.

(3)Be ready to Flash aggressively while you are ulting.
When you ult, the enemy team may run or even Flash away from you. If there is still plenty of time left in Spray and Pray, you can Flash aggressively in order to stay in range and make as good use of the penetrating shots as you can. Playing Twitch is all about using Spray and Pray well and without it, he is nothing - even if he still has F. Pour everything into your R. This is Twitch.

This is a video(BELOW) from the guy who is helping me with my english for this guide. Here you can see an example of not using Flash aggressively with Spray and Pray. His team engages really well and the other team starts to run away. This noob is stingy with Flash and only gets 3 or 4 shots out with Spray and Pray. because of this mistake, they all get away with almost no health.

(4)Be aware of the Penetrationā€™s damage loss.
Maybe some Twitch players already know that for each time a Spray and Pray auto passes through something, the damage is reduced by 20%. The damage cannot be reduced by lower than 60%. If youā€™re shooting through 3 or more things, the damage has been reduced by the maximum amount to any subsequent targets. This is something to keep in mind if there are a lot of enemy minions. Sometimes, youā€™re actually better off NOT using R when assassinating.

This next video shows how a 1/3/1 Twitch can assassinate a fed, 4/1/5 Jhin. Notice how Twitch waits for Jhin to use his Q and W before engaging and chooses to cling to him for avoiding damage loss because Jhin is standing inside of his minion wave.

(5) Think about the enemyā€™s CC before engaging.
In a messy teamfight, the opposing teamā€™s dangerous CC needs to be something Twitch considers beforehand.
Of course, this is true of any ADC, but this concept applies more so to Twitch than other champions because Twitch pours everything into the 5 seconds in which he is ulting.
If you get interrupted by CC during your Ult, you are not a Twitch expert yet.
Think about what CC needs to be avoided before the fight starts and have a plan for what you will do to avoid it.
Do not join a teamfight thoughtlessly.
Going into teamfights with foresight will help you climb.

In this example, the enemy team is doing baron. Stay calm. Think about their CC first!
There are 3 things for Twitch to consider in this example.
1. Ashe's Enchanted Crystal Arrow
2. Pantheon's Aegis of Zeonia
3. Morgana's Dark Binding

We see them use 2. and 3.!!!!
Letā€™s go, Twitch! The only skill left to consider is Enchanted Crystal Arrow!
Use Flash~

Items

Which Items are best for Twitch?

1. The reasoning behind Twitchā€™s item choices

2. What to buy when backing with different Gold values (lane phase)
< This is at ITEM BUILD(UPWARD). >

3. How to choose between which items to buy situationally

4. The most frequently asked question amongst Twitch players: which 3 items make up his core build?

1. Why Twitch should have This

1. Reasoning for each item on Twitch

This item is what Twitch is all about.
If it weren't for this item, Twitch would not be OP.
Twitchā€™s entire play-style is defined by whether or not he is using Runaan's Hurricane.
Why does it mean so much for Twitch?

[1]Wave control
In the early game, once Twitch has his Hurricane, he no longer has to be a weak little farmer, relying completely on his support.
- Hurricane gives him the power to control the directionality of minion waves by himself
- It is a big enough power spike that he can assassinate someone without his support
- He begins scaling faster
- He can clear sidewaves quickly and makes up for his poor waveclear. This way, he doesnā€™t show up late for teamfights and he has more time to position well when he regroups

[2] Miss-clicking is more forgiving
In important situatioins, because we are not top rank players, we often mistakenly click minions or wards instead of champions.
We ADCs all try to click perfectly every day! I know!
But every game we make mistakes.
These mistakes can be costly.
You can lose a 2 vs 2 because of a misclick or you may even lose an entire teamfight.
If you have Hurricane, This sort of mistake is a lot more forgiving because of its passive. Even though you may misclick, you at least still hit your enemy with the smaller missile and they get a poison stack. It's like an insurance.

[3] the extra 15 damage on-hit is actually really strong.
Twitch is the one ADC besides Kalista who does not experience damage loss by rushing Runaan's Hurricane as his first item.
Do you know the reason?
First, Twitchā€™s R gives him free AD to help make up for not having built as much AD.
Second, with Hurricane, Twitchā€™s Ult can pour out damage in a fan shape, not just a straight line.
Third, The extra 15 on-hit damage is surprisingly powerful, especially since each missile also gets the extra 15 damage.
I will demonstrate its power in this video.

- In this circumstance, Gragas is coming in for a gank. Should Twitch go back to his tower? He only has Runaanā€™s Hurricane.

No - Because Hurricane is so powerful on Twitch, he can fight Gragas, Jinx and Blitz 2v3 as long as he doesnā€™t get hit by Rocket Grab with using his sup's position.

Braum eats the Blitz hook and Twitch is able to clean up all 3 kills using only Hurricane.\

[4]. The Item Ardent Censer's synergy with Twitch
Do you know the Ardent Censer item?
Ardent Censer synergies really well with Twitch and Runaan's Hurricane.
Because Ardent Censer gives 20 life on-hit, Twitch will get it x3 with hurricane.
That is incredible in the early-midgame, especially with an 80% crit build, since Twitch ends up waiting a long time before buying any lifesteal.
Add in the penetration from Twitchā€™s R, and everything you hit will heal you for 20.
That is insane. If you hit 10 things while ulting, that is 200 health in just one shot.
Believe me and please ask your support to buy Ardent Censer.

[5]. Synergy with Ult
When Twitch is ulting, Runaanā€™s Hurricane enables Twitch to strike enemies who are at up to a 90 degree angle from him and his target.

Even though I am shooting Soraka, Vladimir is hit too.

3. Situational items

Before we start, Keep in mind that Runaan's Hurricane and Infinity Edge are essential core items which Twitch must rush at first.
If the enemies get a really strong start, you may think to consider buying a defensive item instead. Think again! This is Twitch!
Buying a defensive item before getting these two core items is suicide for Twitch.
There are only 2 situations where itemizing defensively after the two item core is a good idea.

[1]The whole rest of your team is doing incredibly well.
When your whole team is fed but you are not, it is a good idea to build defensively.
In this situation, the fastest way to win and finish the game is just not to die.
Your teammates will win the game easily.
Simply not being dead is the best way for the ADC to fulfill his role.
Just get on your teamā€™s back and enjoy being carried.

[2]When Twitch doesn't have to do much damage.
When your whole team picks a really selfish comp full of heavy damage dealers like Zed, Camille, Graves, etc., your team already has enough damage! Your teammates will do plenty without you having to play aggressively and they probably wonā€™t be able to peel for you. Build defensively for your third item so that you can survive.

In most soloqueue games, the above circumstances are rare.
Twitchā€™s role is to do tons of damage to his enemies
But why must our team always lose their lanes?
There are many ironic situations in which your solo laners are losing and their opponents get fed really early and become monsters. Twitch isnā€™t strong yet by this part of the game; he is still really weak at this point.

How should you itemize if this happens?
Maybe in the past, you have felt like, ā€œWhat the ****? My team always sucks! They fed really hard and now I am getting one-shot! I should build defensively even though it means I will do less damage.ā€
Many ADCs have this thought process and get a defensive item before building more damage.
Of course, other ADCs are okay doing thisā€¦ But not Twitch!!!

If you have played a lot of Twitch, you may have experienced that even in a game where your team gets a really rough start, there is an opportunity to turn it around if you can get a good teamfight.
Because itā€™s Twitch who has the potential to carry a game himself and itā€™s also soloqueue, you can reverse a losing trend!
Also, your opponents are always making mistakes and could throw the game at any moment.
But what if Twitch chose to build defensively?
He may have thrown away his opportunity to make a comeback because he canā€™t do enough damage. :(
Maybe it was his last chance to turn the game around. :(
Even if his teammates hit wonderful CC, the other team will easily run away from Twitch because he lacks the damage he needs to finish them all off.
Keep this in mind when you play Twitch.
To turn and unfavorable game around, you have to gamble a little and itemize aggressively so that you are ready for an opportunity to make a comeback.
Otherwise you will just slowly lose the game because you cannot challenge the enemy.
If you can think ahead about the enemyā€™s CC and enter the right teamfight prepared, Twitch can perform a Super Play.

Letā€™s see it in a video.

The kill score is 11 to 30
In soloqueue, red team already wants to surrender.
But I didnā€™t vote yes.
Why didnā€™t I click it? Is this game just a waste of time? Would we be better off just starting a new game?
What do you think?
Even with a Teemo support!!!
Is there any hope?
Enemy LeBlanc is 10/3/6
Enemy Jax is 7/1/1
Enemy Ashe is 4/2/4
Enemy Karma is 8/3/10

This is not an uncommon score for soloqueue!
The other teamā€™s bruiser is incredibly fed and you already know that Twitch will be oneshot by them if they come anywhere near.
If you see the other teamā€™s score, you automatically know the game is hopeless. Also the support is Teemoā€¦
How could you possibly win???
The only way to victory lies in Twitchā€™s itemization
Even in this brutal situation, he builds only offensive items! Not defensive.
This way, when the fed ashe strikes yasuo, Twitch pops out from behind and executes her in only 3 shots.
Do you think that Twitchā€™s 3 Crits in a row is just lucky?
What if Twitch built a defensive item?
How would he do this much damage??
It is not luck! This is Twitchā€™s strategy.

Remember, in an unfavorable situation, a lot of the burden is on Twitch to play well.
BUT!!! Twitch is the best ADC at turning a game around.
Donā€™t itemize defensively in a losing game, build aggressively and be ready to seize the right opportunity.

Now lets get back to the main subject - Situational items
1,2 core is always Runaan's Hurricane and Infinity Edge. this is fixed.
Also, Twitch should always build Berserker's Greaves. The 35% attack speed buff is wonderful for your DPS.
( Twitchā€™s three item core is a matter of debate and it will be covered in chapter 4.)

(1)Situational Item Choice when Opponents have a lot of AP Damage
Maw of Malmortius Mercurial Scimitar Banshee's Veil
Banshee's Veil is obviously the item that will block the most AP damage. But you should remember that unlike other ADCs, Twitch really needs to make sure that he doesnā€™t forgo damage by building for defensive stats.
I will explain why not to build Bansheeā€™s, but instead build Maw of Malmortius or Mercurial Scimitar.

I always build Maw of Malmortius essentially.
There are two reasons.
First, because i really hate the damage loss when i build the banshees veil, even if the other team has a ton of ap damage.
Also, because Twitchā€™s ideal defense method is not just getting extra health and resistances!

If you didnā€™t already know, Twitchā€™s penetration from Spray and Pray makes lifesteal incredibly effective on him.
When Twitch is caught by a bruiser, he only needs to survive the initial impact before he can turn on the situation. using Maw of Malmortius or Mercurial Scimitar, he can make sure that he will survive 1 burst or 1 CC so that he will survive long enough to reposition and then he can fight back. With the added AD and Lifesteal from one of these items, he can sustain the rest of their damage and duel back. If you dont have 80% crits yet, Spray and Pray that Holy Rito is smiling down on you from The Cloud.
I always prefer to build Maw of Malmortius or Mercurial Scimitar over an item that is defensive only like Banshee's Veil.

Lets talk about why Spray and Pray makes lifesteal is so good on Twitch
[1] Spray and Pray adds AD, which makes him do more damage and lifesteal for more
[2] It stacks up fervor very fast which also adds to the amount of lifesteal
.

[3] The penetrating shots will get lifesteal on anything they hit.
[4] This includes the missiles from hurricane
All of this makes lifesteal very very efficient on him.
Twitch lifesteals a lot when he ults.
He can easily survive with Maw of Malmortius or Mercurial Scimitar and Spray and Pray
This is the most ideal way for Twitch to defend himself.

I really want to talk more about Maw of Malmortius on Twitch.
Since it has been changed, I think that it has become a more suitable item for Twitch.
I really like that the armor penetration has been replaced with CDR.
Before Youmuu's Ghostblade was changed, it was the best item on Twitch.
Youmuu's Ghostblade is no longer good on him because it lost the attack speed active.
One of the nice things about building Ghostblade in the past was the 10% CDR because it allowed for more uptime on Spray and Pray and being able to get his ult 5 seconds sooner can mean the difference between having it available or not in a teamfight happens.
Since he doesnā€™t build Ghostblade anymore, it is nice to still get the 10% CDR from Maw.

Maw of Malmortius has other benefits.
The Lifeline and Lifegrip passives are really strong and have excellent cost-effectiveness for only 3250 gold. In games where you are needing to buy a Maw, you can be sure that you will be able to use both passives effectively.
Lifeline will create a magic shield that will block roughly 370 AP damage. Coupled with the extra 40 magic resist, you will be able to survive being one-shot by an assassin.
At the same time, Lifegrip will proc and you get +20 AD and +10% lifesteal and spellvamp!
What makes it even better is that the extra stats from Lifegrip will last until you leave combat for 5 seconds, so you will have the extra stats for the entire teamfight.
This item makes Twitch like an undead zombie!
In an 80% crit build, this item can be bought to make sure that Twitch has lifesteal when he needs it.

Remember! When Twitch builds a defensive item, he needs for it to do damage too so that he melt the enemy team and carry the game!

(2)Enemy's AD-Damage is Strong
Chain Vest Guardian Angel Bloodthirster Sterak's Gage
High damage bruisers and assassins - champions like Zed, Camille, Riven, etcā€¦. Will kill you over and over again when they are fed.
On summoners rift, it is the natural order of things that these champions will kill an adc if they can get close enough.
You cannot help but build a defense item so that you can still play League of Legends.
Once again, you donā€™t want to buy a full on defence only item, you just need to make sure you survive long enough for your team to come save you.

If you donā€™t have very much gold, just buy the Chain Vest first.
It can just keep you alive for a single damage rotation from a bruiser.
This raw armor stat synergises well with the lifesteal and overshield of Bloodthirster. If you choose to buy Phantom Dancer as your third item, the 12% diminished damage passive and a Chain Vest is also pretty good.
Later on you can upgrade your Chain Vest into Guardian Angel. GA is really cheap right now. If you have a Chain Vest, you can finish a GA for only 1600 gold! If you have enough money when you back, you should go ahead and upgrade it and work on finishing your Bloodthirster.
Because there are no items that give AD damage as well as armor, the best option to handle this damage threat is with Bloodthirster. The AD, Lifesteal and overshield help to cope with AD threats. It is also very strong for dueling with the enemy marksman.

Sterak's Gage
Sterakā€™s Gage
Sterak's Gage is a situational item for a situational item.
It pretty much does the same thing as Bloodthirster but worse.
There is one situation in which it can be a little bit better than Bloodthirster as a fourth item, though.
Like Bloodthirster, Sterak's Gage gives AD and it gives a shield.
For bruisers, this item can be really good but for ADC, the damage is really poor compared to Bloodthirster. Additionally, the shield can only be used once before it goes on cooldown and the item doesnt give any life steal.
So why should you ever build this junk version of Bloodthirster?

If the other team has a champion that is super fed and they apply their damage after having been untargetable or so fast that you cannot possibly lifesteal before you are dead, you should opt for Sterak's Gage instead of Bloodthirster.
This is because a lot of what makes Bloodthirster a good defense item for Twitch is that he can start stacking up an overshield before he gets damaged. The overshield is what allows him to survive a big burst damage.
Champions who are untargetable or who blink or who are invisible can kill you before a fight starts and before you have a chance to stack up a Bloodthirster shield.
Sterak's Gage can solve this problem because
It is relatively inexpensive
The recipe is easy to piece together
It gives some AD
It gives flat health to help survive a burst
It gives a shield SPECIFICALLY for when you get bursted.
Champions you should consider Sterak's Gage against are AD Evelynn, Jax, Kha'Zix, Nocturne, Rengar, Talon maybe Yasuo. For similar AP champions like Katarina or Akali or AP Evelynn, Guardian Angel and Maw of Malmortius are better choices.

(3)Opponents have many CC
Quicksilver Sash, Mercurial Scimitar
What if there is a teamfight and you see a good place to Ult from but it is dangerous and you donā€™t have Flash??
You canā€™t engage from there because as soon as you are hit by the enemyā€™s CC, you will be as good as dead.
If there is a lot of hard CC, you can use the Quicksilver Sash active to make up for not having F available, or combine it with F to quickly cleanse and reposition.
It bears mentioning that if QSS is on cooldown and you upgrade it to Mercurial Scimitar, the cooldown will be reset and ready to use again!

(4)Opponents have many tankers
Lord Dominik's Regards, Mortal Reminder
In most situations, LDR is better on Twitch because he has low HP so he makes good use of the Giant Slayer passive. Mortal Reminder is only better when you need the Grievous wounds passive to shut down champions whoā€™s sustain from healing is too oppressive. Buy it against champions like Vladimir, Maokai, Soraka. It is only good in these situations and you will notice that while it is a great niche pick, it does a lot less damage to tanks than LDR.

Overall, these items are less ideal for Twitch.
Twitchā€™s foremost goal is to melt the enemy carries, especially the ADC.
Unless your team is full AD or the enemy team has at least 3 tanks, you should probably avoid building these items and focus instead on dealing with killing squishy carries as efficiently as possible.

4. Which Item should Twitch pick for 3 Core.

4. The most frequently asked question by Twitch players is what their core build should be.
We know that Runaan's Hurricane and Infinity Edge are essential items and you should always get these first. But what do you buy third?
Statikk Shiv?
Phantom Dancer?
Blade of the Ruined King?
This choice is very important for Twitch.
Each item has its pros and cons so choosing the appropriate one for a certain situation is definitely going to have a large effect on your gameplay.

(1) Statikk Shiv
When Twitch has ( Runaan's Hurricane + Infinity Edge + Statikk Shiv),
you will witness the greatest burst potential he has for melting Carries.
Watch this video

.

In this video, I accidentally click on a minion.
Because of Statikk Shiv and Runaanā€™s Hurricane, I still get a multikill.
Shivā€™s passive lightning can also crit.
With 80% crit chance, you know youā€™re going to deal a really big burst!

- Do You Want to Feel the Hot Damage?
- Does the enemy comp have a lot of squishy targets?
- Do they not have more than 1 tank?

You should definitely consider choosing Statikk Shiv as your 3rd core item.

(2) Phantom Dancer
Phantom Dancer has a lot of good effects. In general, it is a much less common buy than Shiv because Twitch aspires to be a burst assassin - but sometimes it is the better choice.

[1] 12% damage reduction
This passive is the reason why we sometimes choose Phantom Dancer.
The way it works is whichever champion you auto attacked last, they do 12% less damage to you.
It's not just less 12% AD damage!
I blocks not only AD damage and but also AP damage!
I think Phantom Dancer is almost like 1 Core Defense-Item.

In game, Phantom Dancer is really helpful because unlike other ADC, most Team-Fight start with Twitch's first strike.
It means that because of 12% less damage, Twitch can strike once more !
This means a lot.
Most of the time in teamfights, Twitch will be targeted by the enemy team. This item will make it a lot harder for their bruisers to lock you down.
Each enemy you contest will do 12% less to you, one after the other until you have killed them all.

[2] movespeed +12% when enemies are nearby
Unlike the other zeal items, Phantom Dancer gives more movespeed when enemies are nearby. This synergizes really well with the first portion of Twitchā€™s Ambush. It makes it so you can maneuver quicker which can help you find a flank position more assuredly. It also lets you cover more ground in the time that you are given to be invisible, increasing the effectiveness of your stealth.

[3] attack speed is increased to 45% (compared to 35%) and it is only 2550 gold (vs 2600)
Phantom Dancer is the cheapest zeal item. 50 gold is only an extra 2 creeps, but this can make a big difference when you really need to back but you are only a little way from being able to finish the item.
Phantom Dancer also has the highest DPS. Even though the initial damage from shiv is a lot higher, in a situation where you arenā€™t going to be able to burst your target to death quickly, the added dps from having an extra 10% attack speed will quickly outscale the damage you would have gotten from the Statikk Shiv Shiv proc.

These 3 passives make Phantom Dancer a superior item to staatick shiv when the enemy team has a lot of duelists or bruisers. Maybe they have a bruiser jungle and toplaner and a tankier support like Thresh. You arenā€™t going to one-shot these kinds of champions and they are going to fight you back. In situations where you are going to be going at it Tekken style against just one other champion, Phantom Dancer is easily the best choice for 3rd item.
Buy Phantom Dancer when you are having a lot of extended fights with
Bruiser champions like Camille, Darius, Fiora, Irelia, Riven, Shyvana, Vi
Splitpush/duelist champions like Draven, Jax, Tryndamere, Vayne

(3) Blade of the Ruined King
Nowadays, Blade of the Ruined King is more popular because the 6% current health damage was buffed up to 8%
Personally, I do not prefer Blade of the Ruined King for Twitch, because it means giving up on 80% crit.
As a single item, it is arguably the strongest item on Twitch. Some people choose to build it first because it is a decent power spike when you rush it 1st item.
This not only delays your crit but also delays Runaanā€™s and is expensive.
If you are fighting a lot of tanks and bruisers and you canā€™t rely on your team for help, Blade of the Ruined King is an acceptable third item. It gives good stats and the passives allow you to take down tanks and peel for yourself a little bit. Every once in awhile, it could be the item you need to survive a difficult midgame.

[Early Game]At Bot Lane

In this chapter, we will see how The weak Twitch endure at Lane-Phase.

(1)Lane-Phase at Level 1~6

(2)When Twitch just comes back to Lane. (How to Assassinate)

(1)Lane-Phase at Level 1~6
Level 1.
You already know the fact that Bottom First-Level 2 is really important to lead.
But because Twitch doesn't have Wave-Push skills at Level 1 So, You ask your Sup to strike minions together.

Situation 1 => Enemy Bottom-Duo have Hard-Pushing skill.
Try to preoccupy Level 2.
If you become Level 2 earlier, then start Damage-Exchange resolutely.

Situation 2 => Enemy Bottom-Duo doesn't have Hard-Pushing skill.
At first, You and your sup should try to push waves and keep checking enemies intend to push Lave-Wave.
If enemies have intention to push Lane-Wave before you, then Just go back and keep Lane-Wave at that place.

If You are Blue Team.

If You are Red Team.

Level 2
Twitch is very weak at the first Lane-Phase.
But this fact isn't always correct.
Twitch is very strong when the Fight is getting longer.
For example, Let's see the circumstance of Bot lane Fight in Level 2.

At this Video, I will explain how to play in early bot lane and how to use E skill well

(Circumstance) - How to fight in bot lane?

(Judgement) - Using poison stacks, What should you do?

While seeing this video, You recognize Twitch's E skill cooldown is almost on?
Finally! Twitch win!
Like this, even If our sup is dead but, Twitch is good at longer combat.
Don't make a hasty decision, Time is Twitch's

Level 3
You should decide to take E or Q.

Choose Q
1. If enemy's jungler is very good at ganking.
2. Enemy's jungler didn't be found at Top-Lane yet, even if our jungler did.
3. Minion waves are built at near by enemies tower.
4. To have a good positioning by stealth When our jungler intends to bottom gank.
Choose E
1. Take advantage of Damage-Exchange.
2. Minion waves are built at near by your tower.

Level 6
At Level 6, Twitch is very strong because of his R.
If you have a good position and use your Sup well to avoid enemy's skill, then you will win 2:2 at any circumstance. Twitch is really strong at that moment even if unfavorable situation.

- Twitch (R + Runaan)'s insane Power!

Situation
0/3/0Twitch + 0/2/0Leona VS 4/0/1Varus + 0/0/5Thresh

(2)When Twitch just comes back to Lane. (How to Assassinate)
Unlike other ADC, Twitch can assassinate enemy ADC at anytime.
Especially when Twitch just gets back to Lane.
For a perfect assassination, you should consider a few things.

[1]Check Where is enemy Sup
[2]Check the number of enemy's minions(If The number of Enemies's>Ours, Be careful)

Good Assassination Example

Bad Assassination Example

I will update it soon.

[Early Game]When being Ganked

When being ganked, Don't just go back to your tower.
If impellent ganking, Twitch can overcome this kind of fight getting longer.
So what should Twitch consider to win?

1. Strike the Jungler First.

When Enemies Jungler ganked, to hit his CC, he should be front line.
Also, he should get all focused.
At the moment(In early Games Bottom Ganking), Jungler has really weak health because he only has ITEM that helps jungling not combating.
So when Twitch strikes jungler first, then even early games, jungler can not endure the Damage and should go back or use Flash.

2. If there are lots of our minions.

In early bottom Lane, "our many minions" means our 1 Champion.
minions are really strong at being Ganked-Situation.
Minion OP.

3. Check our Sup is getting all the Damage.

When our Sup hit, then Twitch is safe and can strike enemies at a safe position.
Don't throw away your mom.

4. Check that Enemies CC is all used.

If they use all their CC, then Twitch can fly! and kill all of them.
Don't save your Flash.

<Actual Fight>
- There are lots of our mininons
- Gragas use all his CC.
- Nami also use all his CC.
- Our Sup gets all the Damage.
- Twitch has ult.

Game Set. 2:4 ? Nothing.

<Actual Fight>
- There are lots of our mininons.
- Alistar use all his CC.
- Rumble has no CC.
- Our Sup gets all the Damage.

GOGO Twitch! It's your turn.

[Mid Game]Assassination

In this chapter, we will study how to assassinate well in different situations.
Before you try to assassinate someone, you should check a few things.

(1)First of all, hard CC.

Even if he gets the jump on someone, he can still lose if they have hard CC to hit him with.
Before you go, you should check this.
If you have Flash or Quicksilver Sash, be ready to use it.
If you do not have one of these available, you will need to use psychological warfare.
When Twitch appears suddenly to an enemy, most of the time, they will throw out their CC hastily.
Using this thought, Twitch can try to avoid CC without using his Flash.
You have to guess how many times you can shoot them before they react and then dodge.
If you make them miss, you will kill them easily.
You can usually get in between 2 and 3 auto attacks before your target reacts with their CC depending on their champion and the situation.

(2)check their summoner spells

If their Flash is available, theyre more likely to survive.
If you think they have Flash available, you should try to get behind them so that they will have a harder time escaping.
Also, if they or someone near them has Exhaust up, you should take that into consideration. Exhaust will ruin your play.

(3)check if they have spells available

If Twitch isnt already super fed, it can be dangerous to try and assassinate someone on even footing. If you are engaging 1v1, it is usually a good idea to wait for them to burn a couple of cooldowns before fighting them.

<Actual Fight>

1 Twitch vs a champion with only 1 hard CC
(ex, Xerath)

In this example, Twitch already knowā€™s that Xerath has no Flash! Lets go!
Twitch will only have to make sure to dodge Xerathā€™s E!
Plz remember!! Use Flash

2. Twitch vs a champion with an escape spell (including Flash)
ex) Ezreal
Because Twitch knowā€™s that Ezreal has Flash, he positions carefully to make sure ezreal wonā€™t be able to get away.
Ezreal recognizes that he is dead and gives up on using his Flash to escape.

You will notice that Twitch goes behind Ezreal to make sure that Ezreal is cut off from his tower.
Twitch also gets as close as possible so that Ezreal cannot easily escape his auto attack range.
Finally, Twitch rightly chooses to save his ULT in case he doesnt need it or ezreal actually begins to slip away after E - Flash..

[Mid Game]Small Team-Fight

In the mid game, Twitchā€™s playstyle is different from other ADCs
Most ADCs just do their best to farm and reach item spikes for late game.
Oftentimes they will give up on trying to join small team fights in favor of picking up farm.
With Twitch, you donā€™t want to be playing like this.

1. Minimize how much the enemy team gets to see you.

Twitch is a champion whose presence forces the other team to adjust how they would normally play. Because of his stealth and assassination potential, Twitch exerts a lot of pressure by staying off of the enemyā€™s radar. Every time you show yourself on the opponentsā€™ minimap, you are giving them information about where you are and you lose pressure. Keep that in mind.

If you are going to farm a sidelane that is pushing towards you, wait until it gets big and farm it all at once. Doing so will make sure that you are only on the enemyā€™s minimap for a brief amount of time. You will also actively deny gold and xp to the other team for each wave of yours you can get to die. This is the best case scenario, but not always going to be possible. If it seems like the other team is going to group up and force a teamfight, you need to make sure you have sidelane control instead and just get the wave pushing in your favor ASAP.

If you are grouped with your team, sometimes it is better to sit behind and try to pick up XP without necessarily showing on the map. Rather than contest your teammates for CS and showing the other team where you are, you may be better of just staying nearby or taking jungle camps if they are available.

Buying Control Ward can really benefit your team for controlling important sectors of the map and making plays for objectives. This is obvious. Twitch gets extra mileage out of them, though because they help ensure that he is hidden. This was already talked about in the Q Ambush section with regards to laning and the pressure you can get just by hiding in a bush. That principle extends into the mid game as well.

2. Be always nearby liable combat situation and be ready to join small skirmishes and team fights

Many ADCs experience a dip in power in the midgame where they just arenā€™t as strong as other champions. They are squishy and their DPS is lower than that of other roles. Because of his R Spray and Pray and Runaan's Hurricane, Twitch does not experience this issue as much as other ADCs. If R Spray and Pray is off cooldown, he should look for an opportunity to use it to help his team win a fight. Once he has Runaan's Hurricane, it is time for Twitch to look for fights, get kills and snowball. Sometimes he can even be the one to initiate a fight.
Twitch is usually more useful than his counterpart in the botlane, so the more Twitch can fight, the better he will scale. The number of CS is not important on Twitch.

<Actual fight example>

- With his R Spray and Pray and Flash available, Twitch can get fed with kills even though his team is behind. Remember, his ult makes him dangerous compared to other ADCs in the midgame.

Even though his team is behind by 4 kills, 3 towers and about 3000 gold, Twitch picks up two solo-kills in a 1v4 with just two items and a lvl 2 R.

[Mid Game]Dragon-Fight

Twitch really likes this kind of situation.

When the other team is doing Dragon,
1. The enemies are softened up by Dragon DPS
2. They will not react immediately to Twitch coming out of Ambush because they are focused on finishing the Dragon.
3. They are all clustered together.
4. Their decisionmaking will be split between finishing dragon or turning on Twitch. In soloqueue, everyone is unlikely to make a coordinated effort to do one or the other.

<Actual fight example>

- Twitch sees the other team doing dragon.

(a)Their HP has been taken low so Twitch can 2v3
(b)Before popping out at them, Twitch considers their CC and knows that he has to be careful of Alistarā€™s WQ
(c)He decides to hold onto his R until their CC is used so that he is not interrupted during Spray and Pray. It is a bad habit to use your ult too early if there is a good chance you will be CCā€™d.

- When Twitch does Dragon
If while doing dragon the enemy team comes to contest, what is the right choice?
Just attack whoever is closest?
Keep in mind that you are not an ADC like Vayne.
You are Twitch!!
With Ambush, your first thought should be to see if you can take out the enemy carry.
In the video below, rather than having to attack kled, Twitch is able to use Ambush to reposition and counter-engage on the squishy damage dealers.

- after enemy team has just finished Dragon
Even 3v4, if the enemies are really low from taking dragon, Twitch can clean up.
Twitch excels in long fights where he can reset his Q several times.
Just get a Quadrakill and snowballā€¦

[Mid Game]Joining a Teamfight

In this section we will talk about arriving late to a teamfight.
Sometimes, joining late is good for your team
While our team fights theirs without us, the enemy will forget about the Twitch.
They are likely to use their important cooldowns that they would typically save for you.
Because they are only focussed on what they can see, it will be easy to get good positioning and melt carries.
Let's see the video.

- Kled and Nocturne have used their cc, Lucian and Nocturne have burned their ults. This is easy for Twitch to clean up.

(Circumstance)
- Now we see a video where Twitchā€™s teammates have already begun fighting and 2 are already dead. It looks grim but letā€™s see what Twitch can do in this situationā€¦

(judgement)
-They focus on victor, so ADC and MID is feed of Twitch

(Circumstance)
-Unless unfavorable situation, Twitch can beat enemy's carry if he joins even late.

(Judgement)
-Unless unfavorable situation, Twitch can beat enemy's carry if he joins even late.

[Late Game]Baron

Baron! the most Twitch's lover!
When enemy strikes baron, I can call this "Twitch's Party-Time!"
Many Twitch Montage comes from here.
I think baron is always Twitch's ally.

Why Baron is Twitch's ally?
1. Enemies HP is low ATM when they are hit by Baron.
2. Because they are focusing on Baron, enemies can not react immediately to Twitch's pop-out.
3. They are obliged[compelled] to be in narrow corridor or group together.
4. Enemy Team's Order(Command) is divided into two choice that they strike Baron more or stop hitting Baron and strike Twitch immediately.
5. Twitch isn't discovered When he approaches to them with Ambush because of Pink-Ward's nerf so they do not know he comes.

-He is too strong so enemy can't react.

-Even unfavorable situation, It's Twitch's day when they do baron

- At Unfavorable Situation, but If enemies do baron in front of Twitch..?

[Late Game]Big Team-Fight

Twitch is born for Team-Fight.
To do perfect fight, You have to practice!
Unlike other ADC, Twitch sometimes should resolutely go into enemies nest and execute marksmen.
but this play is really hard and he may spoils the whole game.
So keep in mind.

1. Practice is everything.
experience lots of situation, you should upgrade your ability to judge the Team-Fight.

2. Positioning is everything.
Although you can not do kiting well or use Flash properly, if Twitch is at good position, then That's all for him! You did a good job.

There are lots of exercise or drill video.

Matchups

In this Chapter, I will cover "VS Champion".
Considering of your Solo-queue Game, i will treat champion in this order.
<NA Pick Rate>

Twitch's game-play style is divided by early laning phase and after lvl 6,
So I will also cover 2 session on each champion.

Pick Rate : 35%
Win Rate : 50.26%

<Early Lane>
Caitlyn is the king in bot lane. It's disaster on Twitch. She is the hardest one.
She outranges(650 units) so Twitch can not help being hit her poke or Headshot when Twitch goes in to last hit. So I recommend you to choose Warlord's Bloodlust
Her Q : Piltover Peacemaker can push wave so easily. A good Caitlyn do not waste her
Piltover Peacemaker. She installs her Yordle Snap Trap first and restrict your movement and use Piltover Peacemaker when there are no place to avoid!
So do not be greedy on your minion. Just throw a way or give up sometimes. Your HP is more important ATM.
Keep in mind the saying
"After lvl 6, I can kill you. Endure ATM for the future"
Maintain to get left behind with her only 20~30 CS. This is Fine.
Be cautious about her Yordle Snap Trap
What if Twitch steps on the Trap? It's nightmare. This Damage is more than Her Q's.
Especially, a good Caitlyn installs this at behind your tower. Most ADC steps on it anyway.
Why? it is invisible because the tower covers the Yordle Snap Trap. Be careful!
Always be cautious about Caitlyn's E-Q Combo. When you are hit by E, Then Q and Headshot is Bonus.

<After 6>
After hell's Lane or lvl 6, Twitch can breathe now.
Using the fact that Twitch is more strong at 1 vs 1, Twitch can assassinate her!

<Actual situation>
- Save Spray and Pray! he is strong at 1 vs 1 fight even if she is caitlyn

- Believe Twitch's high DPS when Q is activated. Just use F to avoid dangerous her Q

Pick Rate : 27%
Win Rate : 50.85%

Before we start, you should keep in mind.
Mid or Late game, Jhin is our just movable feed because he is really weak by assassination. Instead in early games, Twitch is really suffered from Jhin's strong laning ability.
Because of his strong forth AA and skill which are good at trade, Twitch can not engage easily.
Jhin is also overwhelming for wave push because of his Dancing Grenade, Deadly Flourish.
If Twitch steps on Captive Audience, he is immediately slow and if he is hit by connected Deadly Flourish, then Twitch becomes Rat meat.
Not only this, but while Jhin uses his Curtain Call, Twitch can not do anything if he doesn't have Ambush and be killed or uses spell.
Let's find the way we can endure in lane phase!

<Early Lane>
1. have mental attitude that It's okay getting left behind 10~20 CS

When we are all 1 lvl, we can figure out he is a good Jhin or bad Jhin.
If he is a good Jhin, We should prepare! CS 10~20 behind is okay.
He lose his HP When forwarding thoughtlessly for a last CS hit.
Or for not being lose HP, When he use his W,E to get minion gold, the lane will be pushed to opponent's side and this is more disaster on twitch.
So Let's go behind with thinking of giving away some CS Gold. Just get EXP until wave comes.
When wave comes, you should manage the wave advantageously with your all effort.
This is really important!! When you endure until lvl 6, then you can execute him at last!!!

2. the way trade

you already know damage trade isn't established advantageously on you. If you are hit by opponent's CC then connected his W : Deadly Flourish comes! Twitch bombs.
Then How to trade?
You should remember "never engage when he has Q Dancing Grenade"
because when Twitch comes, Jhin strike once with his AA and Q Dancing Grenade! and use W.
so you should engage with W when Jhin use his Dancing Grenade for last CS hit.
Also, you should trade when jhin used his forth AA.
You already know Jhin is really bad at CS last hit. so many times, he use his forth AA for minions! Maybe this is the last chance to trade!!! Let's go Twitch!

3. Be careful his Flash + forth AA + Q Dancing Grenade

This Jhin's Combo is really well known. If you don't cautious about it, you maybe see grey screen.
So Let's do counterattack!
When you have low HP, most Jhin will use this combo!
For using this, you should put up your fingers at heal spell.
So When Jhin use this combo thoughtlessly, you can give him a counterattack with your heal! Don't lose this big chance.

4. Do not be hit by Dancing Grenade

Do not be hit by Dancing Grenade carelessly while you are near our minions.
Especially when the minion's HP is low, the Q damage is insane.
Keep focused!

<After 6>
Finally! The time came!
Maybe you are really excited about the fact that finally you can execute jhin easily.
But! before you engaged with your sup, there is a thing that you should consider.
Can we really execute him at time time?
What if he survives? because of his good spell using.
What comes to your mind..?
YES!!! horrible Curtain Call time comes..........

Actually, after 6, Twitch can easily execute jhin because he doesn't have escape skill.
But also, he is not just stupid and well known Twitch's assassination right after lvl 6.
So there may be opponent's jungle waits. If or not, when jhin survived anyhow, Twitch and his sups are hit by Curtain Call and die adversely!
Let's engage when you can see perfect kill potent!
If you can not execute him ATM, then unconditionally you are be killed

in mid or late game, you have a chance to kill while Jhin are using his Curtain Call.
ATM, he is all focused at shooting enemies, so he may even notice he is been attacked!
I will upload video related to this situation soon

Sup Synergy

Braum is really good with Twitch.
You already know that Twitch has almost the fastest attack speed.
It can activate Braum's Concussive Blows well.
Especially, do you know the Runaan's Hurricane's smaller missiles also activate Concussive Blows stack?
This means that you can pile up stacks to not only being attacked opponents but other opponents who are next to him.

Braum is also good at protecting Twitch while he uses Spray and Pray.
His Stand Behind Me + Unbreakable blocks all the projectile which are dangerous on Twitch.

Opponent Braum

If Braum was with us, Braum was reliable and dependable but what if Braum is opponent?
It's a disaster. Do not pick Twitch.
If Twitch is hit by Winter's Bite, then Twitch is a just little rat and knocked down especially when enemies are Braum and Lucian.
Even if Twitch didn't give him a Winter's Bite distance, when Twitch is alone or ganking situation, he just uses Stand Behind Me to his minions and uses Flash + AA + Winter's Bite combo.
Then Twitch's skull is just gone out.
Also, do not go out from a tower for CS when your sup is not nearby or there is not a ward at upward bush.

The most important thing is that if he is not just noob Braum, he never uses Unbreakable before Twitch uses Spray and Pray.
Braum always saves his Unbreakable so even if there are a really good situation that Twitch can fly, Twitch can not take advantage of that situation.

Sup synergy

The reason Why Karma is good with Twitch is that she can do everything in a laning phase.
Without ADCs, she can do every damage to enemies.
With Mantra+Q combo she can give pressure to opponents, make enemies passively and earn time for Twitch to scale.
Her good W shield and speed buff can make Twitch easily escape ganked-situation and get a good fight position before he uses ult.
Do you know Ardent Censer buff in 7.2 version?
With this item and Karma's shield, Twitch can fly and be a vampire in early-mid game.

Opponent karma

With her continuous Mantra+Q skill, Twitch can not breathe in laning phase.
Maybe Twitch will experience an evading game.
If our sup hit her with CC, Twitch can not do anything because of her Mantra+E combo.
To endure a laning phase easily, you should remember 2 things.

1. Do not adhere(stick) to our minions.
Q has splash damage so good Karma can give you damage by hitting ranged minions even if you don't hit by Q directly.

2. Do not farm in the corner of the tower.
If you do, it's saying like
"Yes! I should be hit by RQ shower!!"
This position makes you experience more tough day.
