Masteries
Introduction
Ezreal is one of the strongest ads in the game currently. He is really strong at kiting and escaping. He also is strong all throughout the game, and he ***** on almost everyone in lane.
People also underrespect ezreal. He is really tough to beat in lane and he can easily kite anyone with his kit. Farming is really easy because his q can be spammed really hard. Also he scales better into late game then many of the other ad carries that are used because of their early game (cait mf etc)
Also recently at Hannover, ezreal was the second most played ad carry which shows that he is not only viable but he is very stong.

Summoner Spells
I get flash because i like to be able to escape everything even if arcane shift is on cd. You could replace this with ghost instead
I get heal because as an ad carry your job is to stay alive and heal helps you do this.
Other possiblities
Exaust- i normally dont worry about this because almost always either a support will get this or your jungler.
Ignite- No real reason to get this when your mid and top will have it
Teleport- Waste of a summoners dragon is next to bot lane and the time baron matters you should already be grouped
Useless Summoner spells
Promote- You learn how to last hit to avoid pushing your lane. This just pushes your lane and is useless.
CV- You are an ad carry not a support
Surge- Not as powerful as the other summoner spells
Clarity- not good on any champ really. If you are having that many mana problems just ask your jungler for your blue or take the enemy teams.
Masteries
I go with an unorthodox 21-9-0 build. I get both the magic and physical damage armor/magic resist pen. I get the magic pen because 3/4 of your spells do magic damage.
Items
I get sheen first because it makes your q chunk people.
Tri force before ie because you need your spells to charge your passive and because of the slow chance thanks to phage
Ie is after tri force because it does alot of damage (if you are doing bad get bloodthirster first before ie)
Last Whisper because people that stack armor are annoying
Turn your vamp scepter into a bloodthirster now for the damage.
Last item is your choice. I get GA because it gives you good armor and magic resist and being your teams carry the respawn is vital.
Skill Sequence
You max q first because on ad ez it does the most damage. Also his q synergizes with sheen to do damage.
You get arcane shift second because of the reduced cooldown and utility it offers.
You level up essence flux last because its only good for reducing enemy carries attack speeds and stacking your passive.
You get your ult whenever you can because it has many good uses such as scouting farming and stealing buffs/dragon/baron
Team Work
During teamfights you want to make sure to stay in the back. Your main job is to stay alive and autoattack because you are your teams main source of damage. Use arcane shift and flash to sucessfully kite whoever comes at you. Also use your abilities and your ultimate to make sure to keep your passive stacked to maximize your dps.

Pretty easy matchup as long as you dodge boomerang blades because of long cd on spellshield

Ezreal beats tristana early but she outscales him hard
Cant really do much to you early because you can use blink to get away when she jumps on you

Ez outscales her late

after lvl 6 he is annoying to lane against
Ezreal wins early but kog outscales him
Miss Fortune

She will beat you early game
try to doge her double ups
dont use soroka against her because of the heal debuff
Turtle until later in the game. Her early and mid game are ******edly strong but she drops off hard.
Twitch
-
Easiest ad carry to lane against
watch out for his invisibility
outscales you hard late game so you have to take advantage of your early game
Summary
Ezreal is a strong ad carry because he has insane escapability and does tons of damage. With the recent updates, his ult now gives vision which is great for scouting parts of the map and stealing baron. He wins almost every early game matchup and scales better into late game then many of the early game ad carrys.
