Introduction

Hello! My name is starix and here is my beginner guide for Poppy!

I play this champ since my early LoL years and it made a lot of fun every time.
Poppy only costs 450 IP and is a nice Champ for the Jungle.

Pros / Cons

PRO:

- Very mobile champ
- Easy jungle because of Q
- Easy dragon (at level 3-5)
- Nice team fights

CONS:

- E is hard to land
- Needs much Mana in early/mid Game

Spells

Use Flash to land your E effectively or to escape.

Use Smite to slow your enemies down and for jungle of course.

Runes

Pretty Standart Jungle / Attack Runes. If you haven't bought them yet, use Level 1 Runes or wait until you can buy them. They are standard, you can use them with other Junglers, too.

Masteries

If you have played a lot of games with Poppy you can make some AD Masteries but for the beginning, the defensive ones are better. Try to go for Defensive first, then complete Utility and then complete Defensive.

Jungling

With Poppy you can kill the dragon alone at Level 3 or 4, but I would recommend doing this with teammates. Just get some health potions and the blue buff and go!

Team Work

Landing your E spell is very difficult, but when you use it to open a fight it might work out. Be sure to have some mates to help you :) In the mid game Poppy can kill enemies alone, if they aren't needed.

I hope this guide gets you into a Jungle Champion, which are making a lot of fun to play. I am playing Poppy very often, although I already bought other Jungle Champions which are a bit better. A nice Pro of Poppy is, that there aren't many junglers playing this champ, this will give you an advantage, because your enemies will need some time to figure out how to adapt to Poppy.
