Once we get to 5-8 minutes, we should always look for ways to affect the map, be it kills or objectives. I will always push you out of the alley you are in and look for an opportunity to wander through this scene.
Here are the main roaming paths:

Vision is a key aspect when utilizing Elise. Whenever there is an objective teamfight we should be looking for pockets of fog to surprise the enemy carries. Always bring scanner and (if you can) 1 control ward to each objective fight. Aim to be in these pockets about 30 seconds before the objective spawns, here are the places we should be utilizing with vision control, sitting in the bush and catching out enemy carries.

When walking out of base we should always be looking at the state of our lanes and discover roams from base (given mid wave is in a stable place or will be soon). With Elise being quite a low income champ we can recover from plenty of mistakes.
