Introduction

Hey guys my name's is Balttazar and this is my AP Ezrael guide.Now a days people play AD EZ a lot thniking AP EZ is weak.Well I made this guide to prove em wrong.I mean the AoE Burst AP EZ does is amazing.Dont get me wrong AD EZ has a great burst but as AD you're not that great in teamfights but you're good at 1v1.With AP EZ u do a lot of burst in both teamfights and 1v1 fights.

Lore

Ezreal was born with the gift of magic flowing through his veins. Ezreal, however, was also born with a much stronger sense of wanderlust. Put into school to become a skilled techmaturgist, Ezreal quickly became bored with magical studies. By the time the boy genius was eight years old, he had fully mapped out the underground tunnels of Piltover. The quality of his work was so great that the government of Piltover purchased his maps and salaried his services as Piltover's Grandmaster Explorer. This sealed the deal on Ezreal's path in life - he would eschew the arcane arts in favor of archaeology. Since then, countless of Ezreal's adventures have been written about as romanticized stories.

One of Ezreal's latest adventures, however, has brought him face-to-face with his other legacy - his latent magical power. While exploring the pyramids of Shurima Desert, Ezreal uncovered an amulet of incredible power. Aside from the sheer size of the amulet (it was made for a being easily twice Ezreal's size), it allows the wielder to control and shape magical energy - provided a source of magic is in the vicinity. This allowed Ezreal to tap into his natural talent for magic without having to put any serious effort into it - a big win for the Prodigal Explorer. The drawback is that for some unknown reason, the amulet is attuned with summoning magic. Without warning, Ezreal may find himself acting as a champion for, as he puts it, ''a summoner hell-bent on resolving some irrelevant world-shattering League conflict.'' Still, Ezreal feels being summoned into a Field of Justice on occasion is a small price to pay.

"There's little time to study musty tomes when you're busy crawling around where the musty tomes originally came from." Such is Ezreal's credo.

Pros / Cons

Pros
1. excellent mid champ
2. high mana regenration because of runes and Archangel's Staff
3. high damage output to all champions
4. you are able to slow many champions at once with Rylai's Crystal Scepter
5. you are able to chase enemy champions down with Arcane Shift + slow

Cons

1. very squishy
2. if you don't get enough AP you are pretty useless
3. you get focused in teamfights

Runes

Well I think its pretty clear why I use these runes.Since EZ's spells do magic damage magic pen marks and AP glyphs and quintessences are a no brainer.For seals I use Greater Seal of Clarity. In early game you're probably going to spam W and you're gonna be low on mana and that's when the seals kick in.

Summoner Spells

FLASH
U can use Flash with Arcane Rift either to chase or run away from an enemy champion.U coud also use Sprint instead of Flash.

IGNITE
I use it to get an easy first blood or to reduce the healing of champions like Dr. Mundo, Vladimir or simply champs with much life steal/spell vamp. It also does a nice damage at higher levels.

Items

K so we take Meki's and 2 health pots as our starting items beacouse we dont have to worry about mana or health when we're laneing so that means a lot less B in early game.As I mentioned before you're gonna spam W to harass the enemy champs so we get Tear of the Goddess since we're spaming W we get stacks on Tear and the more mana we have the more AP we'll get from Archangel's Staff. Well the Deathcap is pretty much a must have on any AP champ so moving on, the Rylai's Crystal Scepter is an awesome item overall, gives you AP, a HP boost(trust me you'll need the HP boost) and a nice slow.Lichbane goes really well with mystic shoot.K Zonya's hourglass is really cool I mean(Nice AP boost, armor, and an awesome active) what more do you need.If you're not doing that well in teamfights try to get Zonya's earlier it will give just those precious seconds when u cant flash out or use Arcane Shift.

Lane partners

Well I don't like going bot or top as Ezrael I think he's more suited for mid.So that means no Lan partners for you !
