Chapter 1


This build is focusing on a high damage combo: Arcane Shift -> Essence Flux -> Mystic shot

Ghost and Flash makes you highly mobile, along with Arcane Shift, this trinity of escape-moves makes you a true Houdini, and "impossible" to kill (if mastered completely :b).

Game Strategy

Early Game:

(IMPORTANT, you can also choose not to buy Doren's Ring and go straight for the TOME!)
Start of buying Doren's Ring + a Health Pot. Then pick any lane. Focus on farming, and harassing if you get good opportunities for that... it is important to focus on the farm, because Ezreal isn't the best minion-farmer or last-hitter. When you have enough for Mejai's Soulstealer, buy it! If you are comfortable with your laneing-partner try setting up a kill or two, and start on stacking "Souls". The next thing you want to buy is either just the T1 Boots or the upg. Sorcerer's Shoes version or you can start building your Lich Bane and waiting for boots upg.

Mid Game:

Your Lich Bane Should be finished soon and your T1 Boots should then be ups. To Sorcerer's Shoes, if not already... Be apart of most gak's, try to stand a distance away, until the right moment, Jump in Do the combo, and jump out to a safe distance. With your Lich Bane, you are able to take towers down "fast" just proc it's passive and hit the turret and a chunk of its hp will drop (depending on how much AP you have...). Your should have around 10 "Souls". Rabadon's Deathcap is the next thing in line.

Late Game

If you have had a good game so fare and finished you Rabadon's Deathcap fast, and got your stacks high, you should be able to take the squishy targets down in a 1-2-3 combo and mid-squishy targets down a 1-2-3-Ulti combo.

Item-wise you core is done:

Doren's Ring-> Mejai's Soulstealer-> Sorcerer's Shoes-> Lich Bane-> Rabadon's Deathcap

Now you need to look at the enemy team in order to get an idea of which items you are to get next:
Magic, Casters, Mage's, AP'ers, CC'ers:
Abyssal Scepter and/or Banshee's Veil:
Tanks w. Magic Resist:
Abyssal Scepter and/or Void Staff and/or Haunting Guise
Rylai's Crystal Staff and/or Randuin's Omen and/or Guardian Angle

It also dependts on how offensive or defensive you want to play


Rising Spell Force (passive)
Hitting a target with any of Ezreal's abilities increases his attack speed for several seconds. Increases attack speed by 15% for 6 seconds(Max Stacks: 5)
- this is good for farming...

Mystic shot
Ezreal fires a bolt of energy dealing 40/65/90/115/140 plus 100% of his attack damage as physical damage (applies on-hit effects).
Ezreal's cooldowns are reduced by 1 second if Mystic Shot hits a target.
Cooldown: 6/5.5/5/4.5/4 seconds
Cost: 30/35/40/45/50 Mana
Range: 750
- I use this to harass early game and when you get the Lich Bane you can use this in your 1-2-3 combo, late game this will do around 600dmg, it's good to harass with, taking turrets down with (just to proc Lich Bane passive) you can also farm with it. and remember to use it and hit targets constantly, because i reduces you other abilities cooldown with 1 sec pr. hit.

Essence Flux
Ezreal fires a wave of energy that damages all enemy champions it passes through for 75/125/175/225/275 (+0.6). Affected ally and enemy champions have their attack speed respectively hasted or slowed by 20/25/30/35/40% for 5 seconds.
Cooldown: 10/10/10/10/10 seconds
Cost: 80/90/100/110/120 Mana
Range: 650
- This is the main damage dealer vs enemy champions, when you are geared up in items and stacks, it does huge damage.

Arcane shift
Ezreal teleports to a target nearby location and fires a homing arrow at the nearest enemy unit dealing 80/130/180/230/280 (+0.75) magic damage.
Cooldown: 17/15/13/11/9 seconds
Cost: 90/90/90/90/90 Mana
Range: 400
-This is your other main damage dealer in fights. It does alot of damage but only to the closest enemy target so you have to be careful that you hit the right target. I use it to either move closer to the enemy to get a good shot with essence flux to do a two shot or I use it to hit the enemy as I run to get out of the way.

Trueshot Barrage
Ezreal channels for 1 second to fire a barrage of missiles dealing 350/500/650 (+1) magic damage to each unit it passes through. However, it deals 8% less damage for each unit it hits (Minimum 30%).
Cooldown: 100/100/100 seconds
Cost: 150/150/150 Mana
Range: Global!!
-This does insane amounts of damage and hits everything in its path. It will cut all enemies HP in half and help win team fights. I usually wait till they are all in one area (usually hitting our tank or carry) then fire and help clean up by chasing down low hp opponents and heal my allies with Essence Flux.


For the first time i completed the build in-game (twice in rapid succession^^), in a 55 minut game... and I was capable of taking almost anyone down with the combo:
Arcane Shift -> Essence Flux -> Mystic shot ----> and then, if they havnt died, Trueshot Barrage whit an amazing damage of around 1200 total...

Here is a screenshot of some end-game score.. and even though we lost one of them, I got the best score :D
