Champion Build Guide
+ Fast stacking on Q. + Good at dueling. + Good carry potential. + Directly scales with your ability to last hit. His Q can reach a stupid amount of stacks relatively quickly. Good mid-late game. Wither pretty much removes a champion from any fight. Major takeaways: Good scaling, fast stacking, and good in teamfights. |
- S L O W - Bad against ranged champions. - Big hitbox. - very kite-able. - Directly scales with your ability to last hit. - Requires experience playing as Nasus jungle. Mostly he is just slow. To get decent at Nasus you need to know how to play him in the jungle, which means playing a few games to get the scope of his capabilities. Major takeaways: Nasus is a slug, very bulky, and is easy to kite. |
Q:
What compositions should I take Nasus into? |
A: Generally it is hard to say, because Nasus jungle can pretty much engage anywhere against anyone ganking or teamfights. Although definitely take Nasus into comps where your team is heavy AP. The opponents will go heavy magic res which allows you to bonk them with Siphoning Strike. |
Q:
What enemy compositions should I avoid picking Nasus into? |
A: Ranged AP champions. Or pretty much any significant number(3+) of champions with CC abilities that: slow, stun, or root. You don't have to worry that much about charm as much because you have a harder time getting to the source due to Nasusu's low movement speed. |
Q:
What ally team compositions should I avoid picking Nasus into? |
A: Generally, Nasus really fits in anywhere. The only time I would recommend not picking Nasus into is when you have a weak early game bot laners that can't stop the enemy jungle from invading. I say this because the early game camps are crucial to getting your stacks and winning the game. |
Q:
What teamates work well with Nasus? |
A: Most any champion with a slow/root/stun CC ability will work. Supports especially that have pulling or charming abilities( like Thresh, Pyke or Seraphine) can be the difference between a successful gank and one where your enemies slip away. |

Chili Nasus works well with the Flash summoner spell because it provides a good way to jump on the enemy. Ghost on Grape Nasus because it allows you to hunt down your enemies.
Items:
Now you know about both the Grape and Chili Nasus runes and spells, it is time to decide. If Nasus is to slow with the power of spiciness, then the sweetness of Grape Nasus is for you. On the other hand, if Grape Nasus doesn't have enough bite, then the spicy Chili Nasus is for you. This translates into the items, Stridebreaker works well with the mellow Grape Nasus, but Trinity Force works beautifully with the aggressive Chili Nasus. Similarly Youmuu's Ghostblade pairs wonderfully with Grape Nasus, whilst Blade of the Ruined King plays more to the bold flavors of Grape Nasus by subtly taking off some HP and subverting the enemy movement. In the end whether you want the damage in bunches provided by Grape Nasus, or the intense damage cultivated by heat of Chili Nasus is up to you.
