Hi. I have been playing Garen since my first days in the league and cant get over how powerful he is. I have many good games as Garen building full tank while still maintaning high damage due to Garens natural scaling of abilities. I hope with this guide people will find as much fun as i do out of the beast that is Garen.

Pros: Space Marine, Naturally tanky, rediculous sustain, long silence, escape mechainics, easy tower dives (Garenteed)
Cons: Cause people to quake in fear and hide behind towers, kited fairly easily, stuns can waste abilities, spellshields block ulti/Q, Any form of damage other than minions takes off passive, silly taunt/joke/dance

LEAD THE CHARGE

Its simple, start off with the wonderful item known as the Dorans sheild and head into battle (top lane) start by just farming minions with basic attacks and Q'ing the enemy champ in they come close. Once level 2 make sure to judge if you should either Q then E or E then Q because yes.. it does have a different effect. Q'ing then E'ing is when you run at them, silence, then spin. On the other hand when near them you can E then Q as it will start damaging them and you will use the speed buff from the Q to keep up once the duration of you're E is done you will silence and usually will recieve no counter harass.

Not going to go into too much detail with my build as common sense should dictace anything you're unsure of.
