First off, why choose Warwick???

There are so many champions to play in Leage of Legends. There is so much room for confusion. There is so much room from error. With playing complex champs that require hours of practice before even being able to consider taking them to solo que, it is very easy to loose track of your decision making, where to be at the right time, warding, and other fundamental skills. This is the main reason I chose Warwick to get to gold with. Just to show a scale, in Silver 3, i decided to play Warwick, and went 17/0 over the course of the weekend with him. The reason I experienced so huge gains with him was because the champion is stripped of all extra skill sets needed to play him, so you can focus on the basics.

Strengths / weaknesses

Warwick is an excellent jungle for not only beginners, but experienced players looking for a refresher. He excels in the late game, while being an essential utility and constant damage throughout the mid game. He is a very strong split pusher, and team fighter alike. Some negatives include the obvious no area of effect damage. Warwick is also fairly susceptible to invades from champions such as xin xhao. However, if you manage your passive, Eternal Thirst and q, Hungering Strike correctly, you should be at enough health for them to not even begin fathoming a kill on you.

Jungle Route

I use this jungle route every single game.
1.Start gromp, then clear the whole gromp side jg.
2.Them go to wolves and clear whole side jungle without recalling in between.
3.After wolves, recall after krugs if you are on red side, but if you are on blue side you can try a gank top by going behind the top laner.
4.Recall and purchase 1-3 potions, and 2 Dagger. That is it.
5.Rush straight to dragon and chug the potions while constantly using your q and w.
6.After dragon, take scuttle to get that hp back, then work your way to either gromp or krugs, whichever is closer.
7.Proceed to clear the remaining 4 jungle camps, and by the time you recall, your devourer and lvl 6 will align perfectly.
8.You are now ready to farm up and gank as you please.

Ganking / Combos

As Warwick, his combos are fairly simple. For the maximum efficient trade combo, start of with an auto attack followed by a Hungering Strike. Then Smite and Infinite Duress and immediately use your Blade of the Ruined King right after. Finishing them off with another auto attack Hungering Strike, you will burst carries and tanks alike. Ganking is fairly simple. Always try to go in from behind, so you can sneak in an auto or q possible before ulting. This will ensure your laner has adequate time to either cc chain or deal damage.

Why you should NEVER buy purple smite

Purple smite is actually good on warwick. Lemme just come out and say that. It gives him the much needed clear that his kit lacks. This would be an instant buy for all warwick players if his ult didn't apply mad amounts of on hit. If you auto ult with sated, that does 1 (from the auto) and 7 (from the ult) on hit applications. Sated devourer on hit does 50 damage, so your smite q ult would be doing 8 x 50 = 400 BONUS TRUE DAMAGE! This is literally insane and is irreplaceable, making it easy to one shot virtually all squishies.

Why you should NEVER ult first in trades.

In trades, where neither character is actively fleeing, it seems best to hit them with your ult right away. However, due to Warwicks immense lifesteal, this is not so. If you first auto and q, to stack up some damage, and then Infinite Duress your enemy, it will heal you back up from the trade damage, and it will prevent him from escaping when he is low: making it an easy finish off. If you Infinite Duress right away, they can simply walk away and call it worth.

Final Notes

Thank you all for reading my Warwick guide. I bid you all to have as much of a blast playing Warwick as I did and will continue to. He is amazing once you get the feel of him and you will for sure be able to carry games. I hope you do well in solo que and remember, Warwick can't do much before 6. If your laners are doing bad, so be it, and clean up for them later. GL HF!
