Hello,

My name is Topazor, a currently Silver player from the NA Region. I devised this build when trying out the pick with my friends to test the God Staff Jax skin in-game. This build is by no means serious, so expect to lose a fair amount of game trying it. Despite that, there is no greater joy in the world than jumping over a lane's length away to catch an adc lacking.

This build is predicated on the interaction between Jax and hexflash. If Jax counterstrikes then immediately channels hexflash, he is left a small window to leap strike onto a target to hit them with counterstrike. This interaction can be very jarring, especially to immobile ADCs who aren't ready for that fast of an engage. Even besides this interaction, counterstrike proves very useful with trading into an ADC whose whole damage is decided on how many autos they can hit you with.

Good question, and the answer is it is more fun to jump on top of a Jinx than it is to jump on a Sett who can power fist you into next generation.

It's very important that you try and play out of vision. Whether in bushes or even in alcove, its imperative that the enemy laners don't see you channeling the hexflash. This is because if they do, they can easily back away from you which negates your entire existence. Be very keen on keeping your bushes clean, and try and be unpredictable with what angles you come from.

The nice thing about this build is that you can easily use your combo to roam. Even despite being a bit behind in gold, Jax's base stats allow him to be a formidable opponent, especially if he makes use of his ultimate. This of course doesn't mean you can invade the enemy Trundle and expect to come out on top, but it does mean any skirmish in river can be made into your teams benefit. Additionally, you can easily roam mid and ambush the enemy laner from their river bush, provided its not warded.

Your teamfight goals depends on the build you chose. If you went the Phase Rush Prowler's combo, your goal is to flank and find vulnerable targets to dash and lock down. From there, your high damage should allow you to secure high damage on that target before they have a chance to respond. If you went the Tanky path, your job changes to being frontline/engage. use Turbo Chemtank to quickly run at the enemy team to prepare your jump-counterstrike combo. once done, pop ulti and auto, your team should already be behind you wreaking havoc.
