if you are willing to try new things and listen to my exact build than you may or may not be a help in ganks
make sure to try on coop v ai first and make some changes to suit your need of kassadin and his awesomeness
so first of i want to say that this is my first guide. so don't post rude or especially rude comments about how bad i am. a lot of you are thinking probably that i get him up to way to much health. i know but in my opinion if you tele up to someone with a melee guy you better have some health.
haven't been tested yet. and remember that cyber bullying in game or in comments is not fun.
though i have like the only kassadin guide that puts him as a bit of a tank i didn't shun the whole magic thing if you look at my mana it's not to shabby. now some of you with better kassadin guides may vote that my guide is **** that your mothers ****er ****s with a ****ing load of ***** but keep those comments to yourself. I know i have riftwalk as a flash but it helps you get away easier and jump in quick without waiting for the cooldown.the main point of this is to alow kassidin, i'll call kassy, to kinda be an intiator. also make sure you have a hard hitter in your group.
kassadin kinda works like tanks but not fully a soft hitter. after the time you start ganking you want to be kind of a follower to one squishy person (or the squishiest person) on your team. (and you may need another person coming along i prefer tanks) now you act as kind of a moving gank or aid to allies and remember that you are not your full team so you may need some help later on when people get mad at you for killing them and they recklessly try to kill you along with the 4 other people you've PO'ed.
don't use rift walk to damage them to much when you aren't chasing them save it for following and if they are near a turret you can riftwalk in kill flash out and run like bloody hell.
and if they are a bit faster than you even with riftwalk then put ignite on them. some people say it is only good if they are running away but i think if they are at half heath ignite them then do a lot of damage from your null sphere and allies help.
Laneing (the champions you do and don't want to be stuck with)
blitzcrank-his pull is excellent for being able to damage with melee while using some spells
caitlyn-her peace maker and and ult go well with pretty much any chanp(and don't forget the snap traps)
cho'gath- he allows you to have him take some damage while giving you (with rupture) a good slow and silencer.
irelia- she can deal damage and in my opion can put you at the same health as her wile the damage is spread.
jax- he works just the same purpose asw irelia does (in my opinion).
and pretty much anyone who can deal damage while take some.
evelyn- she stealths a lot leaving you the only target.
ryze- i don't know what it is about ryze i just can't do well with him (other people can).
sivir- can't really on average take or deal to much damage.
sona- like the squishiest character in the game can deal but early game kassadin is vunerable without hela lot of health.
and in genrall any character that you don't work well with on average will not be to great a character in the early game. all you should have is soeone who can take and deal damage.
