wtf those potions in the end?

You don't really explain what Summoner Spells to take, you just say what they do. Personally, i don't think Surge or Promote or Garrison need a mention.

Runes also need some alternatives. I've seen some people run Spellvamp quints on kat, or flat AP blues.

You don't make a single mention of Abyssal Mask, and i'm kinda surprised.

You also have several typos throughout the guide that must be fixed.

Ill start off by saying I haven't voted yet as I feel this isn't a bad guide but at the same time has a lot of room to improve. Katarina isn't an over complicated champion but more details wouldn't hurt. For example more depth with situational items or how to come back when behind.

I would also like to give my opinion on rylais. I don't think this is a bad item on katarina but I do agree gunblade is better most of the time. Its a situtional. For example rylais might be a good idea if you are doing a double wota build with say vladamire top. In this case you are without a slow so even though gunblade is better I wouldn't advice getting it with wota. Another example could be if you're behind and need a little more health to survive. Personally I prefer the damage but the option is there and I feel the pros and cons could be eleborated on.

Ok, this is an undoubtebly awesome guide and I only have a few "complaints":

• Speed Quints underrated? Don't tell me you're serious, I saw them on half of the guides the site has, mine included :D
  
  
• It's not that the increase Havoc has is bad, it's only noticable with really bursty guys like Veigar, and Katarina has a bit more sustained damage.
  
  
• Try to get some mathups in. That is all as far as major complaints go.
  

Oh, wait, proofreading, well, just ctrl+f these typos: ealry, CHampions (note the double capital letters), teh, (oh, yeah, saw some double commas there somewhere), ti, redundant (you missed a period there), rearly, Havoc (missed a period again), ruinic, againSHunpo, Katarina's (you meant Katarinas in the items section), phenominal, bunch of missed periods in the items section, cool down (it's cooldown), [/color], favoravble, straight forward (see cool down), gank is not written with a capital letter, a couple ganks (you forgot of), simpley, and that's about it.

I agree with most parts, I do think you should finish death cap before htgb though.

Some more text on playing her would be nice :-)

SO the main thing is that Deathfire Grasp shouldn't be a core item.... However I got a true story for you guys: I bursted down a mundo, while Maximum Dosage was activated, with Deathfire Grasp I have become convinced that it is an essential AP assassin's item.
