When To play Lee Sin

You should ALWAYS play Lee Sin.

Items!

I like to start with Spirit Stone first, I feel like it gives me enough damage and sustain early. Plus I want to get to Elder Lizard ASAP for the gold increase.

Hydra pretty much acts as a second E.

LW When they finally get armor.

I get the boots that counter their team, so High CC means merc, High ad means ninja tabi. (unless its all knock up, then just get what ever one protects you the most)

Spirit Visage and Banshees veil are great against Ap heavy comps, or a fed AP. I tend to favor Banshees against Annie, LB, Syndra, and Teemo. And Spirit against pretty much anyone else.

Between Randuins and Sunfire, I like sunfire if they don't have a lot of AS and I'm ahead. I prefer Randuins when they have someone like Vayne, or they can kite pretty well. (Randuin's isn't just for you)

The only time I get Lightbringer is if they have a Teemo. And in that case its coupled with either a banshees veil or hex drinker.

Abilities!

I prefer getting the lvl 2 of E at lvl 4 because of faster clear time and the extra slow helps with the early catches.

Masteries

I prefer block to tough skin, because the jungle creeps just aren't worth the extra damage block in the skirmishes.

The Reason I Love Lee Sin

He has an insane jungle clear on this map, which means after your first round you can sneak into the enemy jungle via the middle bushes and usually q-e combo on their jungler before they can even think to respond. This usually ends with the enemy jungler either dead or returning to base. Either way try to sneak the last big minion and leave a tiny one for him to cry with when he returns. If this is successful coordinate with your team, which you should be doing anyways, and keep pressuring the enemy jungle for the altar and denying his farm.
