Threats to Poppy with this build
|Warwick||so easy to wall stun spends most of the game in jungle anyway its no contest who will win the 1v1|
Poppy is a very good champion the build i have is for experienced people who know poppy and her kit well, as well as knowing how to use it. This guide is for max damage you can tweak it with a little more defense, but if you want to be killing people with 1 q and being a carry this is the build for you. I wish you all luck with your games let me know how it goes!
So first things first, if you want to lolipopineachothers *******s then follow this guide. I have won many many many ranked games with this build. Just read what im typing and follow it! Start wherever bot lane is weather its red or blue doesn't matter you can solo dragon at lvl 3. after you get red or blue fight whatever camps until you get around 600 gold after you get 600 gold back. After backing you will want to buy your jungle item and 3-4 health pots then head on over to dragon! Once at dragon smack it with your q make sure you get all 3 abilities if you do not get your w you can not do it because you wont get the bonus Armour from your passive. Pop the health pots and start smacking it with your hammer keep using q as soon as it comes up then smite when its low SIMPLE :D. After dragon back and get some more health pots and keep farming help when needed. Remember get sated ASAP but don't ignore lanes!
Pros / Cons
Pros:Tanky,Lots of Damage, Good chase, dueling potential, stuns, good for taking down a carry with ult.
Cons: Heavily Wall reliant, can be squishy, hard to come back late game if you fall behind, tanks are your enemy. Mana heavy (make sure you have blue before rushing into a fight!
Creeping / Jungling
Krugs and blue are your best friends! Krugs because of the stun that you get with smite every 6th hit and blue because you are very mana reliant. If you find that you like warding alot but so does the enemy lock down your raptors as well at least its one ward down without a sweeper. Lockdown dragon to get your stacks! FARM FARM FARM but dont ignore lanes!
When ganking with poppy you want to chase them towards the wall. WALLS ARE YOUR FRIEND! Even if you have to take a few hits to get the angle for a wall stun its worth it especially late game fighting in the jungle is where poppy belongs! If you cant land a wall stun dont try and play poppy she is heavily dependent on wall stuns. Make sure to use your w to speed yourself up during a chase your q is your best friend it can mean the difference between life and death. mid is the hardest to gank unless you know you can get a kill mid is kinda screwed because of her kit it makes her vulnerable to range and mages unless they are near walls. Remember get sated ASAP but dont ignore lanes!
Poppy is a team fighting monster, Because of her ult she can rush into the middle of a fight and just smack everyone with her hammer and take no damage. How is this possible? You have to be good with your ult and positioning. Ult the person who does either the least amount of damage or the person who is running away from the fight (always one). That gives you about 6-8 seconds to go as ham as you can getting stuns and smacking *****es with your q as well as taking and soaking any damage the enemy throws at you. (be the first to engage the enemy team will waste everything on you while your team cleans up and even if they don't target you, you will still do tons of damage regardless. Once your ult has run out depending on who is left wall stun or run to the jungle and fight them remember close spaces are poppy's best friend!
Late game when you have a full build is when things get tricky. Because you do so much damage your going to be a prime target so starting teamfights is your forte. Just be careful who you ult if it is a squishy support or person as soon as they die your ult is gone and your left in the middle of the fight with nothing which makes things a challenge. Late game teamfights ult the tankiest person go for the squishy high power targets first then go for the tanks after. (unless the tank is doing all the damage communicate with your team!)
