Melee matchup are ideal for akali. She can poke her enemy will farm. Use the Q everytime your enemy want to claim some cs. Try to combine poking and farming. With Q you hit your enemy and with the passive you claim a minion. Use this method for the first two wave.

Kinda simple
Wait for the melee minions to have low health then throw a Q. Same story with the mage minions.

Kinda Harder
You have to start poke a bit your enemy. try to wait for the melee minions to got low and then strike a Q that will hit the enemy champ and the minions melee.

Try to not overpush the lane or your killing potential will decrease a lot and your poke too. Last hit is okay. So NO FASTPUSH. Akali dont need fastpush.

Do a First back and hit lv6. Then Roam botlane to feed yourself or the adc.
Help in the river with a ward to give lot of vision near the drake. Keep an eye to your jungler and help him if he fight the enemy jungler. Help with drake. The jungler will be more willing to gank you and help you push.

There are 2 condition:

-You dont have an engage champ like nunu ornn sejuani:
You have to do the first move: R the adc then press W. They will follow you. Focus every spell for the adc or the fed enemy assassin.

-Your team can use Ornn or some engage champ to start a fight:
Wait for the call then press the R on the last champion on their line. You will do dmg to every champ you cross. Then focus your spell just for one enemy.(adc or assassin or CC mage).

Here some tips.

-Riftmaker always if your playing Akali top.
-Hextech belt is really usefull to close gap your enemies.
-Lich Bane can be builded as 2nd item.
-I tried to build a rabadon first back building a colossal (dont try it).
-Void staff is a must against Tanky party.
-Guardian Angel can be your last item if you want to build it.
-Dont play passive with akali: high risk, high rewards.
-This champ can easily dive tower to take a kill and escape from it.
