Jungler Amumu S4
Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Hello everybody and welcome to my very first guide on mobafire!
Well my main champion is Amumu, and everytime i see another amumu they max in a wrong order their skills or they don't build properly, so i decided to make this build and help you all!
Pros / Cons
+Great ganks with 2 cc's, AoE and Dps
+His ultimate Curse of the sad mummy can turn almost every teamfight
-Huge CD on Curse of the sad mummy
-Runs out of mana quickly early game.
We'll talk more in depth about the masteries.
-Block:With this and tantrum you'll be blocking 12 points of each atack you receive.
-Though Skin & Bladed Armor:Those will give you a great defense while jungling
-Juggernaut:Thanks to this you'll have much more Health Points.
-Hardiness & Resistance:They will help you be more tanky through all the game.
-Perseverance:This gives you a great sustain. This one saved me a lot of times.
-Runic Blessing:A 50 Points shield, perfect for early game jungle sustain.
-Fleet of Foot:Nice speed and with the Quints you'll roam faster through the Rift.
-Scout:More range for trinkets.
-Summoner's Insight:Spam even more the Smite.
-Alchemist & Culinary Master:Take more advantage of your potions
As for a jungling route, always start on Blue Buff ask for a leash, don't be shy. After the Blue golems, activate your W and smite the Wight first and then atack it, after that do the wolves, then smite the wraiths and you're ready to gank.
I don't find really useful the Red buff in Amumu, and sometimes you can have a bad timing and do a KS with its damage, it's better to give it to the AD Carry.
Your role in the Team Fight.
As you will be the tank of your team you don't have to be afraid. Use a Bandage Toss to get in the middle of the enemy team, if it's necessary use Flash to get in the middle of their formation and try to catch all of them in your Curse of the sad mummy. Don't forget to have your Despair activated and then spam Tantrum.
Some extra tips for you!
-Your Q, Bandage Toss has a very great range, take advantage of it. And try to predict the enemies movement. Striking with the tip of its range and out of the enemies sight can leave them really confused sometimes.
-Despair doesn't consumes too much mana, don't be afraid of leaving it on through ALL the team fight. It also does damage based on the enemies maximum health, take advantage of that and help against the tanks. Having a Rylai's Sceptre turns Despair into a Dps CC skill.
-Tantrum's cooldown is reduced each time you are hitted. Spam it, take advantage of it! With a Liandry's Torment you deal lot's of damage with it.
-If you have a Zhonya's Hourglass you can do a kamikaze play: Flash in the middle of the enemy team, use Curse of the sad mummy and then freeze yourself wiht Despair activfated. If you also have a Liandry's Torment this will heavily damage the enemy team and will give your team a great engage.
