The Mana Tank Hybrid Blitzcrank
Hi, aronzei here.
I have tried variations of this build and after a few tests I've finally finalized a blitzcrank build that's sort of a ryze build but is also fun to play with.
This build focuses on the synergy of his mastery and passive to deal and stave of damage.
Without further adieu, I present Mana Tank Hybrid Blitzcrank.
AD marks help you get last hits and get more 'oomph' for your E.
Defensive seals and glyphs are self-explanatory.
MS quints just for utility.
This sequence focuses on teamplay. You hook then you knockup then you chase down to death. Even without much AD or AP, thanks to gap created by the bonus experience, your damage will definitely hurt.
Tear of the Goddess
[*] Even as a tear, this item is the crucial to your success. It helps you build off mana by using skills and when upgraded to Manamune speeds it up more as it triggers on your attacks.
Force of Nature
- Nano-repair bots
[*] The health regen of your choice. Not only it prolongs your overall lane sustain, it gives that heavily needed mr to tank magic damage and movespeed to further ensure you stick to your chases. A Spirit Visage can also be considered as a cheaper alternative since your Strenght of Spirit already provides with some health regeneration.
- Gundanium armor
[*] Whether or not you're being focused at this point of the game, this item is a definitely next on the list. It ensures that your defenses are well-rounded. Also with its aura and cdr makes your presence very known when inside a clash.
- Threat generator
[*] A sure part of the build to increase overall threat generated. It gives the needed boost for AP that feeds off on all your previous mana items while also improving AD. On S3, it will become a more powerful item and thus be a much more important item.
- Adaptive module
[*] Your last item depends on what you need. Building up more resistances is definitely good. Even getting more HP regen is great. Although impractical, you can now build Rod of Ages at this point. It generates threat, tankyness, and boosts your mana even further.
Your main goal is to become fodder while still an offensive threat.
Pull, knock, chase.
You can ensure one or two kills in a teamfight this way even as you chase into enemy lines.
Your mana is so damn high that it will provide temporary immunity to almost all damages they can throw coupled with high resistances. You must, however, fear cc. Staying too long alone while slowed can easily chow down that mana barrier. When your barrier is down, don't be too aggressive. When it is up, fire away!
Just remember to keep your W down so that you can easily escape again when being focused.
I mean who can kill a tank with a sudden 1500 pseudo-hp boost running at 500+ ms?
That's like Malphite casting Q on you then running like crazy. Probably even worse.
