Introduction

Hi guys! This is my first build on Mobafire so I hope you will enjoy it. In this guide i will be showing you how i play pantheon, A.K.A. MANtheon. Pantheon is a very versatile champion who is also very powerful and is extremely fun to play.

Lore

Far above the clouds on Mount Targon resides a stalwart tribe of people known as the Rakkor who still revere combat and war as ultimate artforms. They remember the Rune Wars of Runeterra and know that the League of Legends can only repress the rising tides of violence for so long. Each member of the tribe is bred to be a disciplined and vicious warrior, preferring to battle soldiers of either the Noxian or Demacian armies only when outnumbered at least ten to one. Rakkor warriors are trained not only to be as lethal with their bare hands as the most capable martial artists, but also to fiercely wield the many relic-weapons of the tribe. Such treasures have been handed down from generation to generation, and have harnessed the mystical nature of Runeterra in their very cores. These relic-weapons are among the most dangerous in existence - and it comes as no surprise that they have found their way to the League of Legends in the hands of Pantheon.

This stone-faced warrior is a paragon of his people, his very existence an anthem of exultation to the art of combat. Pantheon found it insulting that the people of Valoran would install an organization to replace war, complete with so-called champions, without including the Rakkor. Gathering the blessings of his tribe and armed with the relics of his ancestors, he has descended on the League to show the world a true warrior. He cares not who he fights, and cares nothing for the pageantry or prestige of a League champion, but lives only for the austere glory of battle. As long as Pantheon breathes, he thirsts for another foe to vanquish.

Abilities

Pantheons passive,

After attacking or casting spells 4 times, Pantheon will block the next incoming basic attack or turret attack .

This passive is one of my all time favorites. Whenever you tower dive make sure this is on or if your initiating with your w you don't. This skill also blocks skills such as

: Pantheon hurls his spear at an opponent, dealing damage.

Pantheon hurls his spear at an opponent, dealing 65/105/145/185/225 (+O.4) physical damage.

Cost 45 Mana, Range 600.

This skill is great for harassing because it's mana cost is low, just be sure to not spam it too much.

Pantheons W,

: Pantheon leaps at an enemy and bashes the enemy with his shield, stunning them. After finishing the attack, Pantheon readies himself to block the next attack.

Pantheon leaps at the target enemy champion and deals 50/75/100/125/150 (+1) magic damage and stuns them for 1 second. Pantheon also instantly refreshes his Aegis Protection.

Cost 55 Mana, Range 600

This spell works awesome with your passive because whenever you use it you automatically gain your passive shield.

Pantheons E,

: Pantheon focuses and unleashes 3 swift strikes to the area in front of him, dealing double damage to champions. Pantheon also becomes more aware of his enemy's vital spots, allowing him to always crit enemies below 15% health.

Passive: Pantheon's basic attacks and Spear Shot gain 100% critical strike chance against targets below 15% health.

Active: Pantheon focuses and deals 3 swift strikes in front of him for 13/23/33/43/53 (+) physical damage per strike. Deals double damage to champions.

Cost45/50/55/60/65 Mana, Range 400

This skill will deal most damage in team fights and works well if you use the right combo

Pantheons R,

: Pantheon composes himself then leaps into the air to a target, striking all enemy units in an area. Enemies closer to the impact point take more damage.

Pantheon gathers his strength and then leaps high into the air, crashing down at the target area a few seconds later. Deals up to 400/700/1000 (+1) magic damage to units at the center (down to 50% at the edge) and slows their Movement Speed by 35% for 1 second.

Cost125 Mana, Range5500

This skill is also known as MAN drop! its probably one of my favorite skills in the game. You can get a lot of kills if you time this properly. You can also use this skill to run away or MAN drop away.

Summoner Spells

For pantheon I usually go and but there are other choices too.

Good Summoner Spell Choices

For those heavy CC teams.

Although a good summoner spell, your yommuu's ghost blade's active is like a ghost.

You can get heal but you might not get early kills as easily.

If you think you will be recalling a lot.

Items

Starting Items

you need boots for mobility, it lets you dodge skills shots and run/catch up to enemies.

you need 3 pots for sustainability.

This item is great on pantheon cuz it gives you armor pen, AD, and cdr.

This is the best boots for pantheon because it reduces cc and it gives you mr.

This item gives you AD, Health and has a chance to slow enemies when you basic attack them

This item is great on panth because it gives yo loads of AD and your crits deal 250% dmg instead of 200%, it synchronizes well with the passive with your E

This item gives you HP,AD, and a passive that slows enemies by 40% for 2.5 seconds whenever you basic attack them.

This item gives you AD based on the amount of HP you have, it also gives you armor and critical strike chance.

This is a great item because it gives you everything you need, AD,crit chance, amor pen and cdr.

This is a good item because it revives you whenever you get killed, but just cuz you have it that doesn't mean you should 1v5 or randomly charge in.

Combo

Pantheon

is a character that deals most damage with his spells unlike master yi or tryndemere who use mostly basic attacks. Pantheons basic combo is Q, W, basic attack once, E, then Q. If you do the combo right you will dish out A LOT of damage.
