Intro

Mord is a strange off tank for countering bursty champs like and such. His is not that fast and he has no CC what so ever but, He has damage and lots of it. His cheesing early can win games though not as flashy or mobile as Lb he can dish out almost 400 damage at level two with just a simple eq ignite combo.

Pros / Cons

Mord is slow
Has no cc
Weak to constant damage

But he has a BUNCH of damage
Wicked cheesing potential
And can "turn" a enemy on another enemy

Masteries.

I know this page seems a bit wonky but, every thing has a place. The nine points in the offense tree is for the early cheesing potential and CDR for farming. The two points in the defensive tree is for regen in the early levels of laneing. The utility tree is chucked full of stuff that is great on Mord. The extra CDR is the great part of this tree though. It is great for cheesing early and the spell vamp helps out a LOT.

Runes

Ad reds, Regen yellows, Ap blues and quints = a happy Mord. You could use ms quints but, you can't cheese as much as you could with out them. The extra ap helps out a lot in early levels. Sense Mord is not seen very often the enemy will underestimate your damage early and you can get a nice cheesy first blood.

Abilites

One point I love about Mord is you can farm and poke at the same time! Paired with your spell vamp hitting as much things with your e helps you a lot. His q can hit multiple opponents as well. You can use your w to push protect and be a flat out jerk. His ult is strange but cool. If you kill a ulted champ you control a copy of this champ and steal some ap and ad from it. This copy can do a LOT of damage to the enemy and builds your passive as well. With your core item your ult can be a nice slow for caching people. You should ult one of the carrys though, if you ult a ap carry you get a load of free ad or if you ult the adc you get a clone that does damage.

An extra thing you should always do is keep your passive up! You are weak with out it. It gives you a free few hundred hp to soak up hits with.

Match ups

Mord is great vs bursty champs like and such but he is weak vs ad mids. But mids like , or can beat Mord easy in lane. Aps like are a hard match up as well and other mages that put out constant damage IE Cass's w e combo. is also a counter to Mord. Unless you out damage him he will poke at you with his qweq combo until you are dead or dieing. So never pick him into a dps match up ,pick him when the enemy team picks or to counter them.
