Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Movespeed Hecarim is somewhat viable and can work if done properly. This guide is purely for fun and I am sharing it because playing Hecarim in this way has created some of the most fun and memorable games in League Of Legends for me. Alright lets get into the build!
Not much explanation is needed for runes taking movespeed quints increases your speed and makes you uncatchable at level 1 with the boots start since the quints already give you speed comparable to tier 1 boots. AD marks for damage and to make laning phase easier on you, and defensive marks and glyphs to reduce damage by both ap and ad laners.
Masteries are amplifying the power of your runes and giving you the stats and perks to make movespeed Hecarim dangerous.
Trinity force is ALWAYS your first item because it gives the ability to chase with phage, extra damage with sheen, and movespeed and crit chance from zeal. Zephyr is very important to have second as it gives you the most movespeed from any single item and it gives you tenacity which lets you escape from cc easier and eliminates the need for merc treads. Shiv gives you burst when you tp in and use e because it does count for an auto attack and phantom dancer with ie increases crit chance and damage so that if you are lucky can kill and adc in under 2 seconds.
Pros / Cons
They Can't Run
Very Hard To Catch
Insane Split Pusher
Can Kill Most Targets in under 2 seconds and get out
Some People Don't Believe How Awesome It Is
Laning Phase Can Be Hard
In Laning phase your #1 goal is to get a trinity force and mobility boots WITH homeguard because that is what gives you a power spike that makes you a global threat. Once you have these items (specifically the boots) be aware of fights and ganks happening in other lanes and if there are kills to scrap recall tp in hit ghost and "e" and run into them and ult in between them and their side of the map to fear backwards then spam q and auto attack until they die. If you and your laner are low do the same thing but to your own lane, to make the best of your tp make sure you have a ward that is preferably behind their position so you come from behind unnoticed. Even if you don't have a ward to tp to a minion or turret should work since you are way faster than they will ever be.
This is my first guide and so I will be updating it and making it beautiful with pictures and ability icons as well as fixing typos that I may find and adding new chapters for clarity and an overall more comprehensive guide. Suggestions and helpful comments are greatly appreciated, if you see a problem with the guide instead of saying it is bad say what you think would make the problem better and I will do my best to fix it. Have fun and thank you for reading!
