Introduction
You might not see this unusually rune build as most people will just use their own runes they have over going and buying all the runes i displayed. Simple deso for marks, straight hp per lvl from seals, glyphs is where we get our mp5(so early game your not starved) cd reduction and some magic res for survival early game. Using only two hp quints and one deso quint however feel free to shift them around in what fits your playing style as we all know everyone plays differently.
I prefer to start with the meki due to the mp5 because a good Q farm is a good Nasus. Since we all know how Nasus works(Q gets + 3 permanent damage increase for everything it kills) you want to make sure that every time Q is off cooldown your last hitting a minion. Most game will end with your Q at around 300+ perm damage so your early game must be flawless if you can manage. Some people might not see the manamune as a worthy item on Nasus however I use it every game and because your Q has a cd of like 3 secs late game you will get mana per cast and that hit so your mana gain for that item will max out extremely fast.I would only advise swapping out swiftness boots if the other team has alot of cc. It is best if you get a sheen to start off with instead of rushing straight to trinity force because sheen is the real damage behind the item for you as Nasus because sheen works with your Q. Nobody likes killing somebody twice so guardian is your 1st defensive option followed by common defensive items like warmogs and atma's. And finnaly your build should end with the mother of all damage items IE which is where you get Q crits for well over 1200+ if you had a good game to this point.
Pros
Hits like a truck if Q is farmed enough
Has backdooring potential because Q works on towers
He's Nasus hes made tanky/dps
Can 1v5 your enemy team from 1 shot Q.
Cons
Has hardly any damage early game.
Needs a solo lane in order to win.
His passive only works from melee attacks.
Zoning him out of his lane destroys his carrying potential.

I haven't noticed alot of Nasus in team fights because you have to realize a fight you can win and a team fight that might be a ace for the other team. Sometimes in order to win I have to go BD while my team is fighting 4v5 however each time I decide to not participate in the fights I take atleast 1-2 towers/inhibs before I recall. Nasus can work as a roamer with his exhaust like wither however if your ganking isn't successful your only hurting your Q damage for not killing stuff. Try to only tower dive for the kill if your ulti is up because that extra hp takes cares of that little tower hit or two. Don't forget to use your aoe fire spell as much as possible the armor reduction it provides is better then last whisper.
If you aren't a master of last hitting creeps then Nasus will not perform properly due to the Q gets damage from killing not from hurting them. Nasus and his aoe fire spell removes an enormous amount of armor from any enemys standing in it (lvl 1 is like 20 armor reduction with some dmamge per sec for 5 sec) so in a fight if your not fighting in that your not fighting like a winner(unless you need to chase).
I'm sure that others have realized the power behind Nasus aslong as he gets starts to become a banned champion due to his incredible BD/carry capabilities. Also i wrote this guide for a friend who wanted to play Nasus and needed some advice which was my main goal in this guide.
With more guide making practice comes more skills at making the guides easier and quicker to obtain knowledge from so hopefully in the future i will because to incorporate some screenshots and footage.
