Introduction

Introduction
Welcome to my guide on Nasus the fury of the sands
Before we start I would just like to say this is my first guide, hope you find it useful.

Nasus is bruiser, that is a tough champion that packs quite a punch. He is also pusher
Nasus is a late game champion that requires a good amount of farm and good team coordination to be effective. If allowed to farm for extended periods, Nasus can turn into a true wrecking ball.

Nasus can be played on a solo lane, 1v1 or 1v2 and he can also be played on a duo lane with a support. I would not advice jungeling even tough it is possible, this is because you do not get to stack your Siphoning Strike much.

Pros and cons
+ Durable.
+ Best slow in game.
+ High damage when in melee range.
+ Can carry the whole game if farmed enough.
- Easily kited.
- Vulnerable to crowd control effects.
- A little weak early game.

Runes
Arp, armor, mr and life steal for lane sustainability and end game power.

Masteries
Masteries are set to give sustainability during the lane phase and survivability in the meta game. It is also made to supplement the item build with cdr.

Items
The item build is to make Nasus tanky so that he can not get focused down easily, get cdr to utilize his abilities and so that he gets decent movement as he is vonorable to slows and stuns. You want to take the cdr items first so that you can stack your Siphoning Strike up. And as if that was not a good enough reason to get it, it makes Wither have allot more up-time.

When you are finishing up the build you chose either Last Whisper if the enemy team has a decent amout of armor, or Tiamat if they do not. Remember that killing creeps with the splash effect of Tiamat will not give you extra stacks on your Siphoning Strike.

Farming
It is first when you gain quite allot of stacks with Siphoning Strike that you become strong.
You will for the most part just be focusing on last hitting creeps when you are in the laneing phase, unless your jungler comes to gank your opponent or your opponent walks into your melee range and tries to harass you. You will hit harder back then most other champions with your e-hit-q combo.

Summoner Spells
There are many good summoner spells you can chose as Nasus, the combinations I would encourage are these:
Teleport - Ghost
Cleanse - Ghost
Teleport - Cleanse
Flash - Ignite

Ghost works well with your ultimate to keep up with people
Teleport is good for sustaining your lane, ganking and being mobile in the meta-game.
Flash moves you to the enemy instantly, a nice gap-closer.
Ignite very useful to reduce healing of enemy champions and ensure a kill.
Cleanse is good to keep you mobile, removing a stun while your ultimate is up, so that you can follow the enemy and ensure the kill or even just for removing a stun so that you can use your ultimate and survive.

Summary
To sum up, stack your q up as much as you can and hit the enemy carry for 70% of their health in one hit late game.

~Work in progress~
Would love some feedback :)
