GangPlank is one of my favorite heroes and so i decided to write my first guide on him please tell me what you think.

PROS

-Does a huge amount of damage with Q
-Can reduce healing
-Has personal cleanse
-very fast
-Can support well with ult

CONS

-Squishy
-Once you burst with parley difficult to do more damage
-Passive isn't applied with parley
-

stacking crit runes on gp i feel is the way to go increase his crit chance to respectable levels at start game try to harass with parley alot for the lucky crits with him. crit damage quints for end game.

Recently I have changed my GP play style alot due to the changes on him and removal of the deny mechanic. I chose these items to allow people to start coming in at close range and dish out alot of damage although as you probably noticed it survivability is very very low until you get Blood Thirster. If they don't have much armor you are able to skip over the Last Whisper and go straight for Blood Thirster also your IF and Blood Thirster means you have to sell your avarice blades so it is still good if you get your 2nd IE before blood thirster as it will keep your crit chance at a reasonable level.

Also you may be wondering why should I get 2 IE the passive doesn't stack. Its because of the buff made to IE recently which gives it the most damage (unless you actually manage to get the 40 cs for BF ) and also an incredible amount of crit chance. If you think you know a better item plz tell me.

I like to cap raise moral first as it helps you so much I will sometimes cap remove scurvy first if I'm under alot of pressure , ganks and if they have alot of cc.
Parley is good for farming but i will not usually max it untill much later as its bonus damage increase per level is not too amazing until you get your IE at least. You can get a up to 2-3 ranks in it before level 16 if you want but I like the utility of Raise moral and remove scurvy personally over the flat damage and bonus gold.

Exhaust and Flash I take these 2 because theres not really any summoners GP actually needs.
Ghost = Raise morale
Cleanse = Remove scurvy
Ignite = Grog Soaked Blade
Heal = Remove scurvy
Rally = Raise morale
See you already have alot of summoners.
The ones you dont have
Teleport I suppose you could take this but you are really fast s you can run pretty much anywhere you want to without losing a huge amount of time.
Clarity This is a very good summoner I used to take it until recently. It is only necessary if you spam early game.
Clairvoyance I just plain dislike this summoner on most champs but if you are good with it go ahead.
[[Fortify] Your ult can protect turrets reasonably well and since you aren't specced in it its not really that amazing.

In lane you can no longer deny so you should be able to harass more with the extra mana. When laning you may find that you are not critting as often as you would like try to play defensive back at your tower and get the avarice blades as fast as possible. If your really tearing into them then just try not to get ganked and watch other lanes to try and help with your ult.

Mid game start helping your team in fights by using raise moral to give your team a boost and ult where the fight is taking place. Always wait for someone else to engage and then just lay into the rest with your parley aim down any squishies and if possible try to bait the cc over to you remove it and retreat and come back so focus shifts off you ( by retreat I dont mean fully back to base just out of team fight and then straight back in use your own judgement on this as you your team may be close to killing them all and may need all your help. Your ult is also good for saving towers when the enemy is pushing a lane with noone on it just ult on their minions when they are by tower it will kill all of them and leave your tower to attack the champs.

Late game
Most probably you will be annihilating them just finish them off or if you are defending stay by turret any enemy come close parley and they will back off if they don't and are able to take tower damage as well as and still kill you. unless the rest of your team is amazing just surrender (unless its a trynd or another invul champ) . Also If they are taking baron ult it.

If you follow this guide you will generally rack up some decent scores even if you do badly early game will allow you to become above average in late ( hoping it lasts that long) also with your massive damage output with parley will generally have the enemy ****ting bricks at the thought of coming close to you. You will 2 shot squishies 3 shot most others and just try to stay the **** away from anyone you cant. seriously if their able to take that much just get someone else to engage him first.
