I'll tell you how to build him, play him and jungle him.

Why Shaco and When Shaco?

Why would you play Shaco? There are a few reasons.

// Currently the champion with the highest win rate on NA.
// 5th highest win rate in general.
// Great counterjungler.
// Does amazing early game, can still kill late game.
// He is a demon jester, come on, how cool is that?


When should you play Shaco?
// The enemy has a counterjungleable champion (a very slow one, like Maokai or Alistar).
// Team already has a tanky champion and prefers a jungler with damage.
// You like to troll enemies.
// You want to play one of the funnest and deceivous champs in League of Legends.

Greater Mark of Attack Damage: Makes Two-Shiv Poison deal more damage, and makes the early jungle easier. Also makes Deceive do more damage.

Greater Seal of Armor: Gives armor to survive in the early jungle, also makes enemies deal less damage.

Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist: Gives a big chunk of MRes for the mid/late game, where AP champions start to shine.

Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage: More AD, equal to the marks.

I use9/21/0 masteries for Shaco. Other possible masteries are 21/9/0, 30/0/0, 0/30/0.

However, I feel that 9/21/0 is the best for Shaco. It gives ArPen, damage, attack speed, and tankiness.

Ability Explanation

Ability Sequence

: Your signature ability and the ability that makes people hate you. It makes great ganks, functions as a gap closer, gives you stealth and enhances the damage on the next attack.
The ability scales better into the mid game.

: Does amazing damage early game. You can set up traps with these Boxes, use the fear, or give vision of a small area.

: Helps ridiculously well with ganks, combined with the Red Buff, it is very hard to escape Shaco without flashing away. Also, the active does great damage early game.

: Another great ability. Duplicates Shaco and stealths him. Also makes him untargetable while duplicating. Use this for pushing, objectives and ganking.

Jungle Route

TL; DW (too long; didn't write: Blue > Enemy Red/Gank > Own Red > Wraiths > Proceed to do random ****.

Extra info: Be sure to jump over dragon/baron pit when counterjungling to prevent being seen by wards.
