Hello i am a low elo (Silver) but happily climping Top/Jgl main. I am a stundent and suck at mechanics, but my macro is decent.

Well firstly: hes fun
secondly: hes a tank, tanks are easy to play and freelo if you are decent
thirdly and lastly: hes broken as hell at the moment. The new demonic was basically created for him. It gives AP (which all your abilities scale of and its also great against tanks and you oneshot squishys with only R lategame anyways LUL) of max health and we know we have lots of that and infinie scaling on it with R. Also with the addtion of Fimbulwinter we can solve almost all of our mana issues and Titanic Hydra also gives AD based on max HP which is kinda broken imo.

Look at enemies items, if they have any sort of lifeline..... well your f-ed lol. no jk you just have to trigger it before you r.
Keep your ult to secure objectives if you plan to go there as its a better smite and you get a permanent stack.
Ult minions/jgl camps off your R cd early until you have your 6 stacks on monsters unless you plan to kill your laner. then you obviously last hit them with r for the permanent stack
