Introduction
First up is Tryndamere, that extremely annoying, extremely fast and extremely dangerous AD carry who just refuses to die... His ult ( Undying Rage) and heal ( Bloodlust) basically means you can build him as squishy as you want because he can't die for 5 seconds, and in most cases you should be able to kill them or escape in that time. I always try and get as much life steal as possible just to increase survivability.
Second up is Veigar, the little squishy nuker. He is a glass cannon so by all means play him like one. If you get caught by pretty much anyone your only escape mechanism is Event Horizon, which isn't great... However if you catch anybody on their own (particularly late game) they should probably die within a matter of seconds.
Tryndamere Runes
For Tryndamere I generally tend to use the following runes:
Veigar Runes
For Veigar I generally tend to use the following runes:
For Tryndamere I generally tend to use the following runes:
- 3 x Greater Quintessence of Desolation - Armour Pen is essential for most AD carry's.
- 9 x Greater Mark of Desolation - Same again.
- 9 x Greater Glyph of Attack Speed - For that little attack speed boost.
- 9 x Greater Seal of Vitality - That little bit of extra health for added survivability.
Veigar Runes
For Veigar I generally tend to use the following runes:
- 3 x Greater Quintessence of Knowledge - Mana is essential for veigar, especially with the Archangel's Staff bonus.
- 9 x Greater Mark of Magic Penetration - That little bit of extra magic penetration.
- 9 x Greater Glyph of Knowledge - Mana again.
- 9 x Greater Seal of Knowledge - Mana again.
Tryndamere
I generally tend to start off with Boots just for that little movement speed increase speed and start building Berserker's Greaves straight away. Secondly start building your Wriggle's Lantern, this is essential for jungling, helps your farm and the free sight ward every 5 minutes is really helpful. Next up it's time to start doing some damage... I start with Phantom Dancer for the movement speed, attack speed AND critical strike bonus... Then straight onto Infinity Edge and if you get a chance Executioner's Calling and Bloodthirster for that extra life steal, and Executioner's Calling's active can be really helpful against the likes of Dr. Mundo with it's active.
Veigar
As with most of my builds I always try to start building boots first, starting with Boots and straight to Sorcerer's Shoes for that essential magic pen. A lot of people like to get Doran's rings for Veigar but I usually just shoot straight into building that OP AP. Deathfire Grasp is really helpful with the ability power boost and can help you're nuking with it's active. Rabadon's Deathcap is one of the best items for Veigar, more AP = more OP. Void Staff again gives that essential magic penetration along with even more ability power. Finally (if you get this point) 2 x Archangel's Staff, these are seriously good for Veigar's OPness. When they have maximum stacks of the mana bonus you have over 2k extra mana and over 300 extra ability power... ONE HIT KO TIME.
