Hey folks I gonna teach you how to play Swain. I actually main Swain and went to Diamond with him (:

Championselect:
Try to avoid firstpicking Swain if you don't know your lane opponent (you really don't want to play against Brand for example).

Early Game:
Always use your E to poke the enemy but keep in mind that you HAVE TO lasthit (lasthitting isn't very easy as Swain --> you have to practice), otherwise you will get out of mana soon. If your lane opponent has 1/4 HP use your W and if you hit... you gonna make your full combo E + Q + Ignite and First Blood is guaranteed.

Mid Game:
After you have reached lvl 6 you have a huge powerspike, especially with RoA. You can nearly go for all trades and you will win... play very aggressive, try to hit ur W as often as possible and always do your full combo --> try to get fed because Swain's late game isn't the best. You may even win 1v2 vs Midlaner/Toplaner + Jungler!

Late Game:
Make your full combo ON SQUISHIES to nearly oneshot them... you can also open teamfights if u catch anyone --> hit ur W --> run in --> burst him down --> use Zhonya's to survive and let your team doing the rest. Swain has a problem to deal a lot of dmg on tanks if u haven't got Magic Pen and/or Liandry's.

Pros:
- Mage + Tank in 1 Champion
- Nice sustain with Passive (Mana) + Ult (HP)
- Very effective against Meele's + Squishies
- People don't know how to handle a good Swain
- Unexpected burst if ahead (can handle 1v2 in mid Game)
- Flexibility: top- + midlane
- Able to catch people + open teamfights


Cons:
- Can be outranged easily
- Low mobility
- You have to be ahead otherwise u won't deal enough dmg + not tanky enough (useless)
- Hard to lasthit / not the best waveclear

Farming is very hard on Swain if not trained. Especially if you are under tower in early game you will have problems to get all the cs. Go in custom game and train it a bit!

Tip: Use your Q to get some cs where ur unable to get it by autoattacks, it's instant DMG on point (Under tower: Caster minion --> tower shot --> Autoattack + Q)
