Renekton Build Guide by Embracing

Just read through most of the guide. I have to say, it's not my favorite build, but the guide itself looks great. I might have to try out Renekton again next time he's on rotation. I haven't played him in a long time.


Renekton doesn't have mana for Strength of Spirit ....

Adding some alternative mastery trees would be nice. Maybe 16/0/14, 9/0/21, 9/21/0, 0/21/9 etc. Perhaps the tree that you use IS the most effective, but it couldn't hurt to give people some options.
If you don't want to include other full trees, you could do what I've done in my guides and list other good masteries like Awareness and Veteran's Scars , then tell readers that they will have to sacrifice offense to attain these. Do whatever works for you though.

Greater Quintessence of Health and Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed are other great alternative runes. The swiftness quints help make up some of the utility you're missing. Greater Glyph of Magic Resist are very helpful against champions that deal magic damage in the early game. Greater Seal of Vitality could be nice for some late game health, but I realize that Renekton is more geared towards early dominance.

The Black Cleaver should be one of your situational items at least. It has some nice synergy with Ruthless Predator, it's good for anti-carrying (they don't have much armor anyway) and it'll weaken targets for your ranged DPS to focus.

What do you think of Doran's Shield as a possible starting item? I find it to be a more productive alternative to Cloth Armor + 5 Health Potions. Maybe you could add it to your selection of starting items.

Quicksilver Sash makes a nice situational item, as well as Hexdrinker and even Banshee's Veil. Keep an eye out for more viable items for Renekton. Don't make the readers figure them out on their own.

I don't get the title. Particularly the "interior" part. :S Sry if I'm dumb.

Your summoner spells section looks a little boring right now. The large icons with only one line of text underneath makes it look kinda bad. Experiment with some other formatting. You could use the method I do in my guides, or maybe just use columns like you did for the items section.

Are there any other viable summoner spells for Renekton? What about Teleport? I love that spell when I'm soloing top.

Including the lore isn't necessary, but you can keep it if you really want to. Jhoi would probably tell you to put it at the end so the readers can get to the guide quicker. Also, I would title it "Lore" or something. "Summary" makes it seem like you're going to summarize the guide.

The guide's a little short at the moment. I realize you just published it recently, but keep looking for ways to expand it. Maybe add some videos or pictures to spice it up a bit.

This one's optional, but maybe you could add an alternative build (cheatsheet or in the guide itself) for a more offensive Renekton. I'm not saying you have to build him glass DPS, but maybe offer an alternative to an Atmog's build.

@ the Title part: It's some sort of joke, like there was a freestyle online someone made that said "Interior crocodile alligator, I drive a Chevrolet movie theatre." You can go google it :3

@ Doran's shield: You generally only want this item if you're sure you can handle your lane well. Even if you could, I would prefer Doran's Blade over that. A Doran's Item start will generally lose to a cloth 5 or boots 3 start. That's why it's only bought if you're sure you can handle your lane 100%.

A good detailed description of how you drive the movie theatre the way you do - and the items (and the runes you use to animate the said theatre) in the interior of the alligator are awesome too. Very good guide - can turn a novice driver into a professional theatre formula 1 driver in no time.

Not so sure on the masteries - I myself would go with defence, but hey!

Good guide overall, very straightforward and concise. However, I feel that Renekton is really susceptible to early kiting from ranged champions who also solo top (ex. Teemo, Nidalee). Idk, maybe add a section about early alt. builds or how/when to harass?

Maybe. I really don't know how to explain not getting kited. It's kinda just that feel of the game people would get from experience. I might need to explain that in the guide.
