Before you find every guide I've ever written and downvote them into oblivion, let me say at least this. Yes, I've tried this build. I've fought this build. I know what works and what doesn't. And after all that, I still find this to be a mighty poor build. Sorry for saying that.

Now, allow me to say why.

Items - They're actually not that bad. I like the Doran Shield and the Ionian Boots and the Youmuu's. Now, if you had actually described the items on your build in your guide, I wouldn't have been so harsh. But you put a lot of store in a Trinity Force that I can't seem to find anywhere in your build itself. Not that I mind that part. Trinity Force is a broken item on Riven. If you searched the LoL forums, you'd see the math comparisons of Trinity Force to Infinity Edge. Infinity Edge does more damage with Riven, and costs less.

Now, the items that don't work on this build are Wriggle's and Atma's. Wriggle's Lantern is just a bad item for Riven. Period. The active is nice, but all in all, it's not cost-effective on a character that needs to be carefully crafted. If you're going to be jungling, which you didn't really specify much in your build, then you want to build like a jungler. If not, leave the Wriggle's to someone else. Even more careless is the Atma's. That item only really starts getting effective at over 3k hp. Your build doesn't even come close to that. You mentioned Frozen Mallet, which might remedy things a little bit. You dissed Warmog's, which would have remedied things quite a bit. But in all honesty, an Infinity Edge does the job better than Atma's on your current build. Riven isn't tanky enough to work with Atma's without items. In fact, she can be downright squishy.

Now, you're probably complaining that my criticism destroys your armor items. While true, there are better choices than what you have there. Thornmail is a great item that terrifies enemies trying to auto-attack you. Sunfire Aegis is another one. Look at the choices out there before hemming yourself in.

Runes - Desolation? Good. Seal of Evasion!?!?!? This only belongs on a character like Jax who can make use of the dodge. See Riven's dodge without the runes? Dodge runes just aren't worth it on her. Get some CDR instead.

Skill Sequence - Lots of people hate having to be told how to play Riven. Now, I'm not saying this made your guide worse. However, let me say that maxing Ki Burst first is probably the better option for this build in particular, simply because it gives you the damage kick you need right away, instead of having to aim each attack as is with Broken Wings, with damage being somewhat delayed and spread out over three strikes.

Masteries - I do take offense at this one. 0 Offense? 21 Utility? Riven hardly benefits from the utility tree, unlike tankier characters like Malphite. On Riven, you're ignoring her extreme potential to deal damage in favor of masteries that won't help her nearly as much over the course of a battle. And I see you trying to focus on dodging in your Defensive tree. But again, dodging is useless on Riven, compared to actual dodgy characters like Jax. And if you wanted dodge to begin with, where are the Ninja Tabi!?!?!?

Description - In all honesty, your description of your guide isn't very good. Half the time, I couldn't tell if this was a jungling build for Riven or a laning build for Riven or a Dominion build for Riven. You didn't specify, and you didn't really flow with your guide.

All in all, I didn't find this guide to be very good. That doesn't mean you should give up. There are many ways for you to improve, both with your build and your guide. But for now, I feel this guide deserves the thumbs down.

Please vote honest and dont troll the build if you havent tried it a few times first, no build works every time because the player is the most unpredictable part of the character play.
