Blue form:

Go always blue form when enemy has 3 or more range champs. If enemy team has enchanter support like lulu or karma then its a must to go blue form even if they have 3 other melee champs. Going blue is good when enemy team is just squishy in general.

Red form:

Go red form if enemy has fighter team or skirmishers. Usually you go red form when enemy has 3 or more melee champs. You can go red even if they have 1 melee champ if their team is really tanky or unplayable for shadow kayn. If your team needs frontline it's good to go red form.

Always start red or blue depending on which side of the map you are going to play. So if you start red that means you will play top side and vice versa

If you are going to invade enemy jungle you can start raptors and take your whole red side but you have to be sure where the enemy jungler is pathing and look at your lanes if they have prio.

For full clear practice your clear so you can be level 4 at scuttle when it spawns even without leash. Remember to Q into walls when taking camps to cancel the Q animation.

Starting raptors and clearing red side gives you the opportunity to also go for 2:30 gank in bot or top. This is risky because if you show bot or top the enemy jungler can see that you did 3 camps and then he can counter jungle your whole blue side. In this case you have to go to his blue side but enemy can laners can still stop you so you have to know if your laners are going to have prio or not.

Always take blue smite on both forms no matter what. With blue smite you just smite + ult and you don't have to deal damage with auto attacks or abilities. On shadow kayn you always take blue smite but on red kayn you can take red smite but I prefer taking always blue smite because if you get cc'd you can't deal damage and you can't ult but with blue smite you can smite even when cc'd so you can ult and turn teamfights.
