Introduction

Hey guys welcome to my guide to using Udyr. I just got spirit guard udyr today and this champ is really fun to play so it is popular right now. This setup I use for jungling is ideal for any situation you can be in. Let's get started! HAYNER......PENCE.....OLETTE!!!!!

Runes

x3 Movement quints
x9 Scaling Magic Resist Glyphs
x9 Flat armor seals
x4 Attack Speed Marks
x5 Attack Damage Marks

These runes are viable for udyr because it helps his clear time and still be able to tank hardcore

Masteries

0/21/9 should be your setup for masteries because udyr has high base damage in his abilities and the runic affinity in the utility tree is awesome for jungling.

Ranked Play

To play Udyr effectively in ranked you must coach your team because the Jungler is the chessmaster of the league of legends. Follow the pings and do what the Jungler wants unless it is in your best interest to question his choices. Get a leash from the blue golem go to wraiths/wolves cross over get the other wraiths/wolves and get the red buff. It is crucial to ward your buffs and secure them or you will fall behind very badly.

Pros / Cons

Pros - Tanky with dmg, Fun to play!, Clears jungle quick, VERY FAST attack speed.

Cons - Not great for teamfights at all, No real ultimate, Relys on sticking and kiting forward on his target.

Summary

To summarize everything up give this champion a try because I replaced my main jungler with this guy. I used to use jarvan a lot and because I watched Chogath walk out of his ultimate I am done with the guy. Have a blessed day and feel free to change the item setup to concur with possibly fed enemy champions. You can also build more dmg if your top lane is super tanky.
