Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.

Pros / Cons
This mastery setup maximizes her damage while giving Shyvana some extra utility. Feel free to change the masteries if you wish, but I use these nearly every match and I know that they work. You could possibly go 9/0/21 to let Flash come off of cooldown faster, but I don't think that it is necessary.
- [greater quintescence of malice]This will help you win those early brawls. It is very important that you show your opponet that you arn't intimidated by them. Be agressive.
- [greater mark of malice]This is for the same reason that you Quints of Malice. If you get that little extra crit chance, you'll most likely win any brawl.
- [greater glyph of warding]Get these so when there is an AP champion in your lane, their harrasment isn't as lethal.
- [greater seal of resilience]Use these for when ranged AD characters are in your lane. If you have that extra bit of armor, it will help you win battles against them and it would also help you zone them out of range of experience and gold.
Ghost: used to run from or chase enemies, but I like Flash better. It's your choice though.
Twin Bite: This skill allows you to have that extra kick in 1v1 fights. You can also hit multiple enemies in Dragon Form, making it more effective.
Dragon's Descent does powerful damage to all enemies in a line and turns all of your skills into AOE. Burnout does powerful AOE damage that lasts pretty long. Twin Bite is a powerful single target damage skill (unless you are in Dragon Form). Flame Breath is a skillshot that marks an enemy, allowing you to deal more damage to that target.
: Berserker's Greaves let you attack fast, dealing more damage to a single target. You can trade these out for Mercury's Treads if there is a lot of CC on the enemy team.
: Frozen Mallet allows you to chase enemies even better while giving you extra damage and health.
: Phantom Dancer give you extra movement speed allowing you to chase even better! Also, you'll get bonus attack speed and critical chance which is very helpful for killing enemies quickly.
: Infinity Edge gives you even more critical chance and it also increases your critical strike damage. You will be very hard to 1v1 against and you will destroy the enemy team in team fights.
: With The Bloodthirster, you will be a 1v1 queen and dish out huge damage in team fights.
: This is just the cherry on top. Banshee's Veil gives you extra health, magic resistence, and it blocks one negative spell every 45 seconds. That one spell block could be the difference between life and death.
: You should buy this, as it helps you with your jungle speed but sell it mid-late game to make room for more appropiate items.
: Will let you attack faster, dealing more damage faster.
: This is a great items all in all. It allows you to hit faster, dealing more damage faster. It gives you a very helpful crit chance. It increases your movement speed. This item allows you to 1v1 and chase champions much easier.
: The extra 50% crit damage is very good for destroying everything.
: Gives extra damage and lifesteal, making this a great choice for Shyvana.
: The extra health and damage are nice and now, you slow every enemy that you hit.
- : Gives extra health and magic resistence. That spell shield could also save your life.
- : You should buy this, as it helps you with your jungle speed but sell it mid-late game to make room for more appropiate items.
Your job in lane is to be aggresive, zoning out the enemy champion whenever possible. Just try to focus on balancing last hitting minions and harrasing the enemy champion.
Your job in team fights is to hit as many people as you can with all of your skills. Dragon's Descent is a good skill to initiate with. After you or one of your teamates initiate, run in with Burnout, making sure to auto attack to keep it going. Next, fall back a little bit, running in and out, shredding the enemy team.
Shyvana has one of the fastest jungle clearing times in the game. Althought her ganks or sub-par, she deals a whole lot of damage. You would want to be able to deal more damage now, so that is why I take Madred's Bloodrazor. Your job is to shred the ENTIRE enemy team. Even the tanks. The best route for jungle Shyvana is to go: Wraiths, wolves, golems, Ancient Lizard (red buff), and then start ganking, stealing the enemy's jungle, or keep killing in your jungle. Let whoever needs the blue buff have it. Blue buff is almost useless on Shyvana.
As Shyvana, your job is to shred the entire team with your AOE skills and be a bully in lane. Don't be afraid to 1v1 enemy champions. Shyvana excels at 1v1 situations, picking off out of place champions, and making the team miserable.
Have fun wrecking faces with a champion with insane AOE damage!
