I waited for Skarner since he was presented on E3 by Riot.This is a Skarner laning-guide but with those runes you can Jungle too! I have to say that i ''copied'' this runes by Phreak , but i made a great result with them , even on the Lane! GL & HF!

PROS!

-Can stay long on a lane with his heal!
-Pull and kill Squishys in Teamfights!
-Is very fun to play!
-Very good harassing with your Q and E-Spell!
-Dominates on his lane!

CONS

-Almost a must be to go with someone with CC on your lane
-Because of your ult Teamplay is very important
-Ultimate-duration only 1.5 Seconds , so Timing is Important , and this is hard to master!

As i wrote in the introduction , i used the runes of Phreak's Spotlight.
will help you to dominate on your lane! If u want , u can take Armor Penetration Marks or Quins too , the decision is yours!

Greater Seal of Resilence helps you again to dominate on your lane! Because you arent THAT squishy with those Runes , you can harass or eventually kill better without taking much damage by AD-Champs

The same as your seals , but it helps against Mages. You actually can take mid with those Runes but as i experienced , Skarner is way more useful with Champs like or , because with your ultimate , you can pull the Squishys into the Tower and your mate can stun the target!

The Quintessences are actually the supplement to your marks = More DMG!

Skarner loves Mana! So to take the Ancient Golem is a have-to-do for you! U can spam your Skills even more with it , and this makes it alot easier to take enemies down!

Like i said , if you aren't able to get Creepkills or Kills , get Philosopher's Stone ! It won't give you enough money to get fullgear , but it support your gold-gaining a little bit and you get life and manaregen. thats pretty useful too!
