Cheatsheet: 13/20
6/10 item picks + structure
Seems okay but there are no point of having 2 cheatsheet, you could do a "Starting Items #1" and "Starting Items #2". Rylai's Crystal Scepter is not that good on Katarina, change it to either Abyssal Mask or Liandry's Torment. I also suggest you to add a "Situational Items".

7/10 the rest
Greater Quintessence of Ability Power > Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed. Greater Glyph of Magic Resist or Greater Glyph of Ability Power > Greater Glyph of Scaling Ability Power.

Structure + coding: 12/15
8/10 uses of overviews, schemes and other uses of structure
Seems nice though, but it'll be more better if you add some pictures/banners.

4/5 uses of coding
Good.

Content: 26/50
10/25 Full Build Quality Explanation
You missed out some important chapters such as: Runes, Masteries, Summoner's Spells. The "Items Chapter" has no information on each items you build as your core.

14/20 Tactical Quality Explanation
Yup, you provide tips and tricks and Laning Phase, but it'll be better if you add more.

2/5 Quantity content
Like I said, you missed out some important chapters.

Bonus: 9/15
0/5 bonus chapters (matchups and synergy chapters)
You have none.

4/5 Originality
Yup.

5/5 attitude towards the readers (wants to improve)
Yup(You also appologize for being ignorant :p)

You did well on your first guide but it still lacks some important chapters, you should explain the items on your core build, and I also suggest you to add Match-ups and/or Synergies Chapter if you can. I'll change my vote if you did what I said, pm me or leave a comment on my review shop if you need a rereview and you've add those important chapters.

Good Luck ^^

I honestly don't see the point of having two cheat sheets. They're almost similar, and it would be better to include alternatives in the guide instead. I'm not sure why you'd get scaling runes, as Katarina needs flat stats all the more for her early game, especially if she's in for a hard lane, which quite frankly, is often. Armor Seals would be better, mostly due to minion damage or basic attacks from the enemy (or any attack if the enemy primarily deals attack damage). Scaling AP isn't really the standard as well. Flat AP or MR glyphs would be better in my opinion.

Tbh, even though Zhonya's Hourglass is a fairly good item, it's better off picking up late game. An early Fiendish Codex/ Needlessly Large Rod > Deathfire Grasp is a better core for a burst mage. You ought to fix the arrangements of the items in the cheat sheet as well. Maybe it's just me, but I prefer picking up Void Staff before Deathfire Grasp on Katarina.

I'm not sure why, but you don't use the [[insert item/skill/mastery/rune/summoner spell/champion]] tags very often. You're missing some important sections on your guide, namely, runes, summoner spells, masteries and skill sequence. I think that even on a safer 'standard' Katarina a QEWQ is better than a QEQW, so you at least have your combo by level 3, plus the MS from W which would be useful in a W+E combo to escape a gank.

Why does your items chart repeat itself?

I think your thinking that you should always aim for the carries in a fight is the way to go because they're usually safely tucked into a position wherein if you fail to get a kill, you'll most likely die. I think a better way to phrase is "aim for anyone you can burst safely". It's important to keep in mind that her ult is really easy to interrupt. Katarina's late game is only strong if you manage to get the early snowball, but otherwise, she's still rather fragile.

You have a few coding, grammatical, and spelling errors here and there.

To conclude, your guide still needs a lot of work. It's getting there though, and it isn't the worst. In any case, good luck with your guide.

Are kidding?!?! Doran's Shield provides SOOOOO much sustain, more than Boots to be honest. 4 health pots will heal 600 health overal sure, but Boots barely give you any movement speed anymore, that means it's still as hard to dodge skill shots as without them, but Doran's Shield gives you an extra 100 health, heals an extra 2 health per second, and it has an amazing passive which blocks 8 auto attack damage, and you also get 1 Health Potion for another 150 health back.

The item itself is worth 624 gold, and you get it for only 440 gold along with an extra Health Potion
Boots gives you 25 movement speed, which is half of what it was before it was nerfed. That's it.

It takes 60 seconds for 4 Health Potions to heal 600 health
It will take about 3 minutes to regenerate 600 health with Doran's Shield (along with Katarina's level 1 health regeneration) considering you won't be spamming all 4 Health Potions at once and getting all 600 HP back in 60 seconds, Doran's Shield is a much better choice than Boots

Actually boots of speed give a lot of movement speed if you have movement speed quitessences, and it's just my personal preference. But now that I think about it Doran's Shield would be a good starting item I'm just used to starting with a lot of movement speed.

+ Doran's Shield To starting items.

Sorry about being ignorant :/

Thanks for the comments guys! here are the explainations below vvvvv

  • I don't really like taking Doran's Shield as a starting item because it offers barely any sustain and Katarina doesn't have any. Boots and four pots provides more sustain and allows for better mobility so you can dodge poke.
  • I take sinister steel at level 4, because, the only reason I use it for early game is because of its speed boost and help with cs, for it is really dangerous to go onto an enemy and hit them with sinister steel at the early levels. And even if you do get the chance to go onto them an auto attack will deal more damage, but at level 7 I take a point in sinister steel instead of Bouncing Blades because at level 6 you can go onto your enemy laner to kill them more safely (because if a jungler ganks you'll have a reset to run away with.)

Yea I was gonna add a custom table of contents but then I got confused and forgot to add it in the end my bad >_< but I will work on fixing it asap. :D

Lovely guide!

I would like to talk about a few things though:
  • You should add Doran's Shield as a starter item as well.
  • I'm not exactly a fan of taking Sinister Steel at level 4. I don't think you explained it either, so please do.

Good luck with the guide!
