Champion Build Guide

SSM's Gold Lee Sin Guide Season 10

By ShadowSlayerMain
Introduction
Heollo, guys. I am ShadowSlayerMain or SSM, a Zed main who ended up in Gold Tier during the last season. Playing the Jungle role with champions such as Nocturne and Kha'Zix was part of my ranked games too. On this guide I'll talk about another Jungler, Lee Sin. Be sure to read my chapters well because they have explanations and more. Good Luck!
Pros And Cons
PROS

+ Strong Early Game
+ Easy Mechanics
+ Outplay Potential
+ Support Teamfights enough

Thanks to his double kit and Teamfight CC of his R- Dragon's Rage, Lee Sin can Outplay and kill enemies with ease if he performs the correct mechanics.
CONS

- Early Game Disadvantages
- Need Many Games to learn
- Mechanics are difficult
- Teamfights are Difficult

It's true that you need many games to master Lee Sin. You should also practice your Mechanics so you won't have problems performing them and catch Q- Sonic Wave predicts but you can train hitting multiple enemies with R- Dragon's Rage only in normal games.

Runes And Items

PRECISION
Lee Sin's most frequent and compatible keystone is Conqueror. Its Life Steal and Spell Vamp Passive is the most compatible part and it can stack along with his own from W2- Iron Will.
I use Triumph as Lee Sin's best because it restores some of your missing HP after a takedown. It can also be useful in Teamfights to have the chance for being more aggressive and keep fighting. Also, Presence of Mind can be compatible with your Energy.
Legend: Alacrity is the most recommended part for Lee Sin for more Tenacity. Legend: Tenacity can be another compatible part because he isn't actually an Assassin.
I choose Coup de Grace as Lee Sin's best for increased damage against low HP enemies. Last Stand can be another compatible option because it can grant increased Life Steal and Spell Vamp from W2- Iron Will.

INSPIRATION
Inspiration are the most common secondary parts for Lee Sin to have some advantages in Early Game. With Magical Footwear you won't need to build Boots during the Jungling Phase at the 1st 12 mins that will replace them. Cosmic Insight is the most recommended for increased CDR.
This Item will give a buff on Lee Sin's basic Attacks that can be useful for farming and ganking.
This is lee sin's basic Core Item to start penetrating Armor. Its CDR Buff almost reaches the limit so after you build it you may not need other CDR Items.
You will often build this on Lee Sin. It is very optional for him especially in Teamfights thanks to its Lifeline Passive.
This is the best choice against Heavy Burst AP enemies.
Tanky options against On-Hit and Crit enemies that also reduce their Attack Speed. Their Passive and Active abilities are useful in Teamfights for more CC. You can also replace Sterak's Gage or Maw of Malmortius with one of these so you can be more tanky.
This can be compatible with your Q- Sonic Wave's Dash end for increased damage and a slow when Lee Sin attempts to Auto Attack. Your Spells will also deal Nightstalker's damage.
This is one of the best choices for killing enemies quickly either with Auto Attacks or Spells.
This is another Burst Option. Its Veil Passive ability can help you against Heavy CC enemies.
This can be another compatible option for increased MS in every way.
After Duskblade of Draktharr's latest update this item was created for the Blackout Passive not to get lost. It is still the same Passive that reveals wards and invisible traps and its new placement is a lethality item too.
This is a Defensive mobility option. It can also reduce your target's MS with your next Auto Attack.
This is another MR option. Its Passive ability will increase your Spell Vamp by 30%. It is very useful in Teamfights for being a beast on your enemies.
This is an item that is often bought as 5th thanks to its Passive.
You can upgrade Tiamat for more Life Steal when you have Late Game advantage.
After you full build you can build one of these 2 to increase your Life Steal and Spell Vamp or your Tenacity.
Jungling Phase
As soon as a classic game starts, you shouldn't hurry starting with one of Lee Sin's abilities until minions spawn. If an invade happens you should go aggressive by starting with Q- Sonic Wave/ Resonating Strike. If there will be no invade you should start with W- Safeguard/ Iron Will because its CDR when you shield yourself or an ally will help you take the Buff quickly. You shouldn't hurry casting your abilities so you can have 4 Auto Attacks with Passive- Flurry Attack Speed. Then you will continue from the Krugs for not losing enough HP.

When you are going to gank a lane you should do 1st something better than you think: You don't need to hit Q1- Sonic Wave 1st. You need to ward so you can dash on it with W1- Safeguard (you can also cast W2- Iron Will for healing) and then E- Tempest/ Cripple to CC the enemy laner(s). If you haven't reached level 3 to have it unlocked you can go ahead for 2 buffed Auto Attacks from your Passive- Flurry. Then you will need to hit Q1- Sonic Wave. If the enemy laner(s) have mobility spells or if they Flash away you can use Q2- Resonating Strike to follow them so you can kill or assist but as you know you shouldn't dive without HP and your ally/ies if they reach their tower. When you get R- Dragon's Rage at level 6 you can start ganking with Q- Sonic Wave/ Resonating Strike so you can ward behind your target and dash with W1- Safeguard and use R- Dragon's Rage or use R- Dragon's Rage and then Flash quickly to throw them back.
Late Game
As Lee Sin you can easily reach your target so you can follow them with Q2- Resonating Strike by just hitting them with Q1- Sonic Wave. Then you can use R- Dragon's Rage to CC any other enemy by hitting them all using your target. After throwing your target you can use E- Tempest/ Cripple to slow and reveal any enemy so your team can follow and kill them. Use Q1- Sonic Wave to poke the enemy team out of combat and your dashes to run back to safety or chase the enemy team for helping your team win Teamfights.
Mechanics
Before I show you some complete Mechanics of Lee Sin I will 1st show you some other tricks to keep in mind because they can happen when performing mechanics:

, Q1

Q1,

R,

E,

Q1, , W1, Q2

(After Hitting Q1) Q2, W1

Now these are your primary mechanics:

, W1, (W2), E1, E2

Q1, R, Q2

Q1, Q2, , W1, R

Q1, Q2, R,

Q1, , W1, (W2), R, Q2, E1

Q1, Q2, , W1, (W2), R,
