Champion Build Guide
Introduction
Hello everyone.
My name is Ivanilis and I'm Platinum ranked top laner and support main.
I played Kench before the nerfs that gutted him last year, few weeks ago I decided to try him again and I was shocked at how strong he is, you can easily destroy almost every melee matchup there is.

Abilites
Always max your Q first, ALWAYS.
It's a long range slow skillshot, at 3 stacks of basic attacks, it becomes empowered and stuns targets for 2 seconds instead of slowing.
You want to max E before W, because your W almost always becomes irrelevant after laning phase, while E gives you incredible sustain and healing.
Also important note, DO NOT unlock your R until level 10, there is no need for it, it's range at 1 point is pathetic as it is not even enough to get from Tier 1 tower to Tier 2 tower, including channeling, it's faster to walk the way instead. On level 11, range increases greatily and your ult becomes very important tool.

Items
Start with Doran's Shield, pot, and a trinket each time, there's really no need for anything other than that.
SUNFIRE CAPE - Your core item and you will buy it in 99% cases.
ICEBORN GAUNTLET - Very useful item especially if you are way ahead against your enemy laner, it gives you infinite mana sustain and extra slow that will butcher enemies when used after landing your Q.
THORNMAIL - I build it almost every time because rarely there are enemy team comps that have no healing at all, if they have any, buy it. It gives you hefty amount of Armor and Health, as well as Healing Reduction and Attack Speed decrease for enemies that target you.
SPIRIT VISAGE - Buy it every time because it synergises perfectly with your E passive and Ravenous Hunter rune.
ABYSSAL MASK - Every time when you have a heavy AP champion in your team, like Veigar, Ekko, Syndra, Lux.. Get it, it will increase their damage dramatically, also your spells do magic damage so it increases your power as well.
DEAD MAN'S PLATE / RIGHTEOUS GLORY - Very good for chasing down enemies.

Runes
Always get Grasp of Undying as your primary choice, absolutely no other comes close to it.
Get Demolish, even though I've seen many people taking Shield Bash instead of it. Activating your E is never worth it unless it's life or death situation, never use it unless you are going to die other way, healing you get from it passively is superior compared to shield + shield bash.
Bone Plating & Overgrowth are self explanatory.
For secondary I almost always get Domination.
Cheap Shot - For insane early game trades, it's worth every time.
Ravenous Hunter - For massive healing off your abilities later in the game.
Also get 10% Attack Speed and 2x Armor, unless they have too much AP power, in that case change Armor for Magic Resist.

The End.
I hope you liked the guide, I played so many games with him and I'm sure there are no better choices than these I made, at one point I held almost 70% winrate on dozens of games.
Good luck !
