Hi!!
This is my guide for
Talon, who is incredible assassin, ap-counter and of course, and he can get out of any situation, if played right.So, there are main goals, you MUST achieve:
- Go to mid (seriously, top is too strong early, and bot is just ranged vs melee)
- Learn to save your ultimate to teamfights, because you deal pretty much AoE damage.
- THIS IS NOT a guide, that tells you how to play, you can make changes, and if they work, send me a pic to proof this, and tell me your changes.
So, first you need to learn that
Talon is a buster, and needs ALOT of burst items, like 
Trinity Force and 
The Bloodthirster and 
The Brutalizer. These items are great.So, without any longer prologue, let me introduce you to my

I find these masteries to be one of the most effective against an AP mid. Of course, there might be more powerful ones, and you can make your suggestions with changing them and stuff like that.

This is another mastery page, if you can't manage your mana yet, or you just want to spam more early game.
Runes
Main rune set
|
Greater Mark of Desolation Greater Mark of Desolation These marks are just INCREDIBLY good, they will do some damage at early game, and they stack with your  Last Whisper and The Brutalizer
Greater Mark of Strength These marks are good aswell, giving you easier farming time. 
Greater Seal of Resilience These are pretty normal, but will give you easier harassing at mid, because minion aggro now deals less damage to you, when you attack the enemy mid. |

Greater Glyph of Warding Yup, you NEED these against AP mid, because the amount of Magic Resistance these give is just amazing, and it'll help you with your farming. 
Greater Quintessence of Strength EVEN EASIER FARMING, seriously, you can't be outfarmed with these runes, because you can almost kill half healthed magic minions with one hit at level one. |
Summoner Spells

Flash This is your another escaping mechanic, you can just use stealth and then flash away, pretty simple, isn't it :)?
Ignite This is great finisher, with your bleed damage (which can exceed over 300 damage), you are just killing machine, with HIGH AMOUNT of DoT damage. |

Exhaust This is an alternative, take this if you are afraid that they have more high damage ADs. 
Ghost This is alternative for Flash but I don't recommend taking this over flash, because you get movement speed from Shadow Assault.

Abilities - Tricks 'n' Tips
Mercy
Rake, since when you use Cutthroat and Rake and Noxian Diplomacy, you'll get HIGH BONUS, because your abilities all go well together.
Tips and tricks:
- Try to use Rake as early as possible
- Remember that you aren't autoattacker, you are assassin.
Noxian Diplomacy
Cutthroatto get closer, and then use this, great early game harass (wven better with Rake) and great burst at late game.
Tips and tricks:
- Use this in your harass combo at early, but don't take useless point without Cutthroat
Rake
Tips and tricks:
- This is a great way to get out of invisibility, and you should consider revealing yourself, and using Cutthroat after Rake
Get some jungle creeps with this, if you need money, or just health (New jungle gives health/mana buffs)
Cutthroat
Tips and tricks:
- Use this to engage the enemy!
- Gives you some damage and also way to escape, use it to enemy minion if you are chased.
Shadow Assault
Tips and tricks:
- Don't overestimate enemy, go to another way they are going, or just stay still for a moment.

This is my optimal build, and this is how I usually use it, you might think why there isn't
Youmuu's Ghostblade the reason, why, that I think it as waste of money, sure you can upgrade it, if you have more money than you have places in your inventory.So, you damage comes from
The Bloodthirster and Trinity Force, Last Whisper enchants the damage, and so does The Brutalizer. Guardian Angel is pretty useful, with the passive, and armor and magic resistance it gives. You should take this ALWAYS!And if they get armor, you just get your
Last Whisper earlier, to counter their counter (counterception).If they get magic resistance, you don't need to do a ****! (so, why did I write it then?)
If their ad carry owns you, you should stay behind in the teamfights, and ambush people!
Shoes
No, I'm not going to tell you about my shoes, I have only one pair, and no, I'm not a woman.
These are the choices,
Berserker's Greaves is just completely useless, because you hit 2-3 times a burst, so 3/bst is your attack speed :))
Items - Viable 'n' Core
Starting items
Boots of Speed Great starting item against anyone, especially against those who have got much skillshots eg.  Ezreal
Health Potions If you get hit, these'll give you some health. |

Doran's Blade I don't recommend getting this, because you'll lack sustainability. 
Long sword This is only for those, who have played as Talon

|
The Brutalizer This gives you much Cooldown reduction and damage and armor penetration. SOOOO USEFUL!
The Bloodthirster ****loads of damage and lifesteal, 'nuff said! |

Trinity Force Zelda power, YEAH! No, really this item gives you: Slow, Damage, Q buff, Health, Movement speed, Attack speed and Critical chance
Last Whisper This gives OP amount of armor penetration, and also 40 damage! |
