Kindred was introduced as a Marksman Jungler, but with the recent itemization changes for many champions, i.e Sunfire/Gauntlet on every top-laner, I decided that Kindred, with their insane kiting ability, immense trade potential, and infinite sustain, would make a great tank frontline.

With Kindred's change to her W, taking Fervor is a lot more risky than is recommended. If you feel confident with the champion and the matchup, Fervor can grant easy early lane dominance, which will allow you to snowball your lane. However, in a less-favorable lane matchup, Grasp is preferable, as it is her only early-game sustain ability. Without that sustain, Kindred is easily out-traded by champions like Yasuo and Taliyah.

Most top-laners counter Kindred, with her being a squishy marksman with no reliable escape and no hard cc.

Pros:

Lots of utility with Gauntlet
Can solo many carries late game

Cons:

VERY weak early game
Punished by any champion with a gap-closer or long-ranged harass
W changes make sustain difficult
Weak wave-clear until Gauntlet
You'll probably get flamed by your team
