I will put your rune setup as a second choise

Greater Mark of Armor, Greater Seal of Health, Greater Glyph of Magic Resist/ perhaps Mana Regeneration or CDR and Greater Quintessence of Armor - that's one of the better Rune setups using more effective Runes.
An important rule is that you should never sell your Sightstone even in the late game as long as you aren't sitting in the opponent's base fooling around before finally ending the game. A second rule is that you should always prefer building support'ish items over selfish items. Arguing with that items like SC or Warmog's are rather suboptimal even though I believe Warmog's can be a possibility but not in the first place. Item like Mikael's Blessing can be crucial in some games! Maxing abilities at level 9,13 and 18 and is often the best way of skilling. Due to that max Shatter at level 9.
