So, to cut it short, you choose Taric when u need a tanky ap, cc support jungler. Playing Taric you really shouldn't go 1v1, but if you get caught out you can probably win that duel, if you have mana and spam q and e.

Taric is a very mana reliant jungler early and mid game so you should start with your blue buff. Use your q every time you're hitting something just to have that extra attack speed with your passive. After bamis or if you got a bad first clear and died with blue, buy a tear.

Ganking with Taric is pretty easy, just put your w on a teammate, use chemtank and then e flash.
