Introduction

This Teemo guide is for my friend Matt. Made July 6, 2014 Patch 4.11. I do not intend to continute to update this guide.

Laning

Teemo can be a real lane bully. If you get ahead with him, you stay ahead. If you fall behind with him, you tend to stay behind. Keep that in mind. This is why you are taking AP glyphs and ignite. If you can manage to get a kill on your opponent (around level 3 usually), then you can snowball your lane. Teemo does very well against certain top laners. For example, he destroys Nasus. While Teemo is not always a strong choice for top lane, he is not as bad as some people might think. You just need to learn to harass your opponent with your autoattacks without taking much damage from your enemy's minions. The combo in lane is to autoattack your opponent and then use your Q on them. Then you run away. If you are hoping to attack them more than that quick burst, then save your Q until your opponent is about to attack you (since it is a blind (which means that their autoattacks will miss)). Remember to use your mushrooms on lane bushes and in places that will stop the enemy jungler from ganking you. There are some interesting spots on the map that people frequently walk over because they click on their mini-map to walk. Try putting your shrooms next to walls on a corner or in "tri-bush".

Team Fights

Full Damage Teemo can blow up squishy people on the enemy team. That being said, Full Damage Teemo is easily blown up because he himself is very squishy. TEAM FIGHTS ARE ALL ABOUT POSITIONING. If you can do damage without getting yourself caught, you are doing your job. If you can't run in to blow up the enemy ADC, that's ok. Just autoattack a tank or whoever is near you while you are safe. But generally, yes, you do want to focus your damage on your opponents that have high damage output (usually the enemy mid and adc). ALSO! Use your mushrooms all around the dragon and baron! Use them in places where you think that your team will fight, but do NOT use them under an enemy tower because enemy towers grant vision of your precious mushrooms! And the enemy will kill your mushrooms without getting hurt!
